But no, I am not looking at a car from 1 Canal Way #E.

The vehicle in question will be filed in the registration as 2 AXLE RIGID BODY (which may or may not be correct, depends on the amount of rust how rigid the body is)

(a good number of them are down as 2 Axle rigid body LOL its amusing because on those and the ones where the wheel plan is just down as not recorded, nothing on the V5 actually tells you its a 3 wheeler!)

Ok. It's not an invalid carriage.

That leaves the other options, one of which is correct.

Pictures later on.

No, but surprisingly one of the guesses is correct.

Yes. It's quite rough. That's all you're getting.

Edit: Took the long (long, long, long) way home and took a look at it in streetlight. It has some really bizarre holes in the strangest places (rear top corners of roof, for instance). Seller's words: "I don't think anything on it works any more.", which is inspiring.

Not to that scale, but the house we're trying to buy has some pretty abysmal estate agents running the show; we were told that it's "uninhabitable", and our comments and offer were mixed up on the way to the vendor.  Looks like they get business from sellers by over egging their valuations by 20%

Expand

Skipped the estate agent. Vendor is going to talk to them in the morning to confirm our mutually agreeable figure.  Looks like we might be moving to the sticks.

ah interesting :)

"it never looked like any work got done there" as in there was a garage there, but it didn't look like they did invalid vehicle servicing, or there was a closed down garage that nothing seemed to happen with?

for those wondering the quote is from this post on the blue forum http://forum.retro-rides.org/post/2245638/thread

Haha.

200ci six, Fordomatic 2 speed, single barrel carb. It did crank over and had oil pressure but it didn't want to run.

Solid (ish) underneath, absolutely rotten as a pear up top. Moral of the story? Don't park your car under a tree, kids.

Bottom of the wings all totally solid, solid arches, solid sills... 56000 miles. Shame.

(It had ants, spiders, frogs and mice too)

It doesn't seem that long ago when a photo of some luxuriantly- bearded fellas campaigning for al-Muhajiroun/al-Ghurabaa (both subsequently banned) would have summed-up Luton quite well.

How times change....

At least a dozen of them parked in every available space and where there weren't really spaces. They didn't appear to move but they all looked the same from the top of a bus or the train.

Access to it was from the road bridge that goes over the canal and railway line.

For the benefit of those of us browsing on our phones, what is that? I’m not sure if it’s a plastic bag or an anorexic monkey hanging upside down.

It was a soiled pair of ladies pants.

Two women walked past them. One of them clocked them the other didn't look.

I reckon they was hers , she looked like she was having flash backs of one Guinness too many, and re living the aftermath of eating that kebab she found in the bin on the way home in her mind hoping that her friend didnt notice.

Dirty cow.

That's not too bad. When you said Luton I immediately thought of Vauxhalls. Stained pants don't seem so bad now

20 years ago a mate had bikes then bought a car , an old escort with no airbags

He looked at my car which had airbag written on the dash

Has this really  got a passenger airbag

Yes

Him, looking at the dash , how does that work then , does the glovebox lid drop down and fire a pair of fanny stained knickers in your face.

Barrow Park has Canada Geese on the lake...

These two have been here a couple of years now.  The brown one has some dodgy-looking feathers on his/her wings, not sure if you can see them properly but they stick out at rightangles, more or less in the middle of the wing, both sides; I reckon he/she can't fly.  The white one never strays far from the brown one.  They're always together, and I reckon the white one is on Carer duty.  Such devotion is lovely to see.
