Childish I know, but made me chuckle when I parked behind it earlier.bf65c2245e43b15d5867de89ac654226.jpg

Came back to the Scudo van earlier having left it parked in a car park for a bit.  Parked next to it was a shiny new Volvo XC90 with people sat in it.  I walked over and unlocked the Scudo, was about to get in when the woman in the Volvo got out and said "excuse me".  She then came over and very apologetically explained that her son had opened his door into the side of the van whilst getting in.  "I don't think it's done any damage but I didn't want to leave until I'd let you know".

I like a stereotype as much as the next bloke, but occasionally it's nice to see one being turned on its head.

Watched a  film with the good lady tonight and saw the Prime Minister from Love Actually (who was elected in a pre Christmas election) meeting with the President from that post apocalyptic horror film (I forget its  name...)

Bid on a car that ends in less than 2 hours. A car I've always wanted and definatley appreciating in value. Just have to think of a good story to tell my sleeping wife if I win!

You never know the high bidder could be like the majority of eBay car bidders and not bother turning up.

Wow, is that all a Corrado is worth these days?

I'd see how your OH reacts - if she's disappointed that you missed out, you have permission to do it again. If she tears into you, no damage cos you still have savings.

I mean it's done 185k miles and the heater doesn't work but yeah I thought it was good value too.

Spotted 2 radios the auctioneers had seriously undervalued  with an estimate of £20-40 on one  item and £10 on the other

I left £100 autobid on each thinking I'd walk it

Checked in to watch and

I have £10 , 20 on the internet , hang on £300-£400-£500-£600

Bollocks

2nd one comes up and the same happens

I need an auction that's not online

Our NHS are Brill, my lung infection has got worse so had to visit our out of hours gp, he is worried it could be sepsis (doubt it, but best to be safe), within an hour I have had bloods and x rays done. Just hoping they don't want to keep me in when the results come back.

If it's sarcoidosis like I had, it's likely you will be staying a while.

It seems it’s down to my arthritis meds affecting my lungs, should be home in a couple of hours or so, no idea where we go from here though. NHS and good Hope hospital in particular have been amazing.

I liked Paul, Hot fuzz is another brilliant film that has so many great quotes and a great cast.

The amount of people I've worked with or customers I've met that do the "yarp" from that film always makes me smile.

Me and my good lady popped to Wells on our way back from somewhere to check out some of the film locations and a nip to the pub.

I watched it with my son and his mate on Halloween night.

Does anyone else see a resemblance between Ghosty and Bill Nighy? ?
