Ah, but is the troll aware that he has trolled you?

It's probably somebody I know...

At the ACA auction yesterday they were handing out free copies of CCW.  On p.6 there's an article about Bo11's Mazda 929, complete with a photo taken on what looks like SL's driveway.  Autoshite really does get everywhere doesn't it...

My stepdad is quite taken with the 929 having seen it here in the metal. He ran Mazda B1600s back in the day as well as a whole run of Datsuns bought new.

Says he'd pay £10k to have something like that now :-D

Spent the day at Brunty in the rain getting deafened by old jets, it was a fantastic day & the spray made for better pics & videos.

Give me a shout if you need anything I have a reasonably complete one in the yard. It is destined for the oval at some stage. It was traded in on the original scrappage scheme at a Hyundai garage. A fucking Hyundai garage.

Genuinely shocked at that, at least it will get a decent send off and it's donating parts - are you up for panel swaps if there's any others on here?

Yes not a problem Its at the back of the yard at the moment so I wlll need to move a few cars to get to it. It hasent been lifted by a hiab or moved with a forklift  mainly because its so heavy I am not even sure what model it is but its a 6 cylinder and its manual.

Had a P4 a few years ago. Loved the look of it and it drove okay. Got my mate to look it over despite having a fresh MOT. Two pages of A4 sized fault list later.......

It was ticketed for plate raping and should never have been on the road. Got it sorted ASAP after threatening the MOT place with 'the Ministry'. They sacked the tester and told the seller never to return.

Would still have one.

Bugger, sent it to someone on here a long while ago. Just remembered as I typed.

I was at Duxford last weekend and this was stooging about.

In fact I'd like to live at Duxford, by the runway in a shed, with a supply of cigars, good coffee and a comfortable chair.

Looking forward to having these with a rasher of bacon and a fried egg.

Hot steaming mug of strong tea to wash it down with.

How are you applying such a natural looking coating of patina to cover that nasty shine?

Victory went to his head, he made a half-hearted attempt to shag a Bloodhound bitch. The puppies would have been interesting.

Getting a wave from the driver of another Ford Puma today  :-)

Are you on the Facebook page for Puma owners? They have a few on there who often wave to others, surprisingly for a one model 'forum' and even more surprisingly-er for social media, it's a brilliant.

No,I'll have a look though.I used to get the same thing when I had my Fiat Coupe & that was reasonably new at the time.

I had a good day out on Saturday, I had entered the 10k race up at Killin in the highlands so decided to take the mx5 and give it a good run out on those lovely roads. When I got to Killin, I discovered the parking for the event was in a field - not exactly ideal for the lowered mazda with trackday tyres - but I gave it a go.

On my way into the field, I overheard the marshall excitedly telling his mate over the walking talkie about "...proper roll cage and bucket seats and everything..." he obviously liked the little mx.

I parked up amongst the long grass and cow pats, as I put the roof up, I heard the folks at the car next to me having a little chuckle at the Autoshite dealer sticker in the window. It turns out they were from Cambs and know of "six mile bottom", I had previously presumed it to be a made up place. We chatted for a bit, one of them owns a 100,000 mile scenic, I suggested he would fit right in here :)

After the race, I spotted the same Marshall on the gate so gave it the full sideways beans on the way out of the field, he was laughing his back off.

I went for a drive in the afternoon and stopped to explore a dam, when I looked back across to where I'd parked there was a bunch of tourists taking turns posing for photos by my car

On the way home, I stopped for a wazz and had a look at the map to see what interesting roads I should take. A stressed out looking fellow approached and asked for help with directions - due to an accident and roadworks closing two main roads, he'd been on a three hour detour and had lost all faith in the satnav. His Mrs and two young kids weren't exactly happy either :(

We figured out where he needed to be heading but it was a long journey still ahead of him, I gave him my map so at least he had a fighting chance of making it to Skye in one piece.

I booted the mazda down the country roads and had a cracking time of it, what a great little car and a smashing day out.

Any interest in a Puma that's been lifted and prepped for off road tomfoolery?

"That's the puma. It's been lifted for going off road and partly stripped too. I have all the parts to put back into it just haven't got the time. There's a steel plate underneath that's why there's bolts in the floor pan. If it doesn't go then I'll get a mate to banger it and bin it. Escort won't be bangered. She's too good for that. Neither have mot. Don't think escort would take much. Puma probably a lot more."

I was once cast as the lead role in the silent version of Oliver.

It was brilliant, I couldn't ask for more.

After the spin cycle do you put Barbara Cartland in the tumble drier to get the fluffy ness?
