I did that at asda with a small austin (also featured on a less popular forum) but didn't get pictures. Helps keep the rain off if you don't actually have a roof!

Today I managed to escape our snow-bound and god forsaken hill town for a while, and made it as far as the metrocentre to do a bit of christmas shopping. While I was there I came across a promotional display for Kia Motors, two Sportages and a "Soul" and some promotion girrls giving out leaflets. I must have stopped briefly to stare at the awful ugliness of the cars, because a smiley bint was suddenly showing me leaflets and asking if I was interested in their free prize draw.. apparantly all I had to do was sit in one of the cars and look interested, and I could win a brand new sportage! She seemed a bit put off when my reply was eh? what? no... why would I want one of them? Obviously mistaking my disinterest for brand snobbery, she started to compare the kia to some sort of audi, I cut her short with, no, I don't want a new car, and besides, that's the size off a small truck... She tried again with a list of specifications, and offered a brochure, I made my excuses and left.

 

Later I lent a shovel to an audi Q7 driver who had made a fair sized hole in the snow trying to wheelspin his way free, and stood and watched as he dug it out.

I've been on it. IIRC it was quite good, as was the exhibition that accompanies it. I'm not sure if it's "cross the Atlantic" good but if you're in Scotland anyway...

Handed another assignment in. This is where I fell down last time. Goodness.

 

Acquired this wee beasty for much cheapness:

Its an M-Audio MBox 2Mini with Pro Tools LE 7. Yes, I know it's not the latest, and yes, it's only got one XLR and two jack inputs, but it's got phantom power and I've got a licensed version of Pro Tools and an MBox for £30, what do you want anyway? :lol:

I decided to get it as an early birthday pressie - wanted to learn Pro Tools for a wee while.

I'm still in the dark ages with Audition 1.5. I got very close to signing up for a production course at SSR, but the costs turned out to be more than a bit crazy.

 

My mate D_STIRLING has just finished the SSR course and he wants to show me how to do things on it. WIN.
