Something to cheer you up - LOL:

Last week a bloke at work bought his wife an Apple watch.  All fine and gadgety; you can do all kinds of marvellous things with it, even send text messages by talking into it which makes it cool in my book

Anyway, he saw the messages come up on the little screen and asked his wife why she signed off her text messages with LOL.  "It means Lots Of Love" she replied.

Oookaaaay

He explained that it didn't mean Lots Of Love, it meant Laugh Out Loud.  That's all fine until she thought back to some of the messages she had sent..

"Sorry to hear that your dog has died after its long illness.  LOL"

"My thoughts are with you on the death of your dear grandmother.  LOL"

Father DodgeRover has qualified for an invite to the national ploughing championships, I'm assuming it's in the Ferguson class. Hopefully it will be somewhere in the middle of the country so he can attend.

Doesn't he have a trailer?

The met office told the military that it might all be so bad that they would be required to clean up, the French figured out what was happening and the Met Office ended up reviewing their procedures and buying supercomputers because of all this.

And Fish has changed his story several times over the years.

What is this discount you speak of? I was thinking of doing the Le Mans classic for the first time next year.

I am a member of the ACO so get a discount and advance ticket sales for the main race. I think the Classic tends to be rip off ticket agencies only but as I haven't been since the very first one I wouldn't know. I can look into it for you if you want as I am thinking about doing the classic as well next year.

I have just checked the ACO site and classic tickets go on sale next week

Fitted this to the Multipla earlier (an early birthday present) to replace the really nice but broken CD player Clarion head unit.

A £37 Alba special from Argos.

Managed to fit it in about 10 minutes as the plugs were the same and it's the first time ever my daily driver has a working CD player. Actually sounds decent.

One here for Spottedlaurel and Dollywobbler. I've recently added BBC Archives to my Facebook feed, so there's now actually something interesting to look at. Anyway, here's a 5 minute video from 1972 with tremendous Datsun content, featuring bewildered and belligerent Cumbrians.

Link is a Twitter one, so everyone can see it: https://twitter.com/BBCArchive/status/920256843607429120
