Got a phonecall from the local Deliveroo office today, hello the One Show are doing a featurette on Deliveroo and want to follow one of the riders for a day, would you be interested? Said alright, they asked me a load of questions, said I sounded like the sort of person they were looking for - fairly interesting, know what you're doing etc, we'll get back to you soon...

I might get to be on TV :-D

Spotted a citroen picarsehole driving out of work earlier with a YT55 number plate, the same as my gooner.

What are the odds etc

If it's exactly the same, pretty remote.

If it just starts with YT55, then it's one in 13,824 before taking into account any regional weighting, how far cars travelled when sold, and whether all the available YT55 plates were used.

Hope this helps :)

I'm waiting for it! I thought it was pretty cool that out of the 13k YT55s in the world (although how many are left now Hendry will be able to say) one drove out of our office car park at 10ish this morning!

It'll take you about 20 hours at 5 seconds per plate to run them all through TotalCarCheck, so get cracking.

I think I'm right in remembering they use Zs and Os, but not Qs and Is in the random three letter part of a post-2001 plate? 24 letters total choice then.

I used to see several Astras at work with similar registrations to my old one, but then I worked with colleagues who got their cars at the same time so they were registered at the same time :)

"Have a look on Facebook marketplace" they said.

"There's loads of bargains" they said.

"It makes eBay look like it's used only by geniuses" they should have said.

"suggested marketplace items" on facebook was the final straw that got me to finally delete it off my phone entirely. Third post from the top was always a manky knackered phone for sale by some absolute scratter 25 miles away. It was a different manky phone being sold by a different scratter every time I opened the app, but enough was enough.

What makes me grin? The double take both when people realise that they've just seen a Lada - and again when they realise that it's just quite happily sailed past them in the outside lane.

It's been nearly a year now and the reactions from other motorists still haven't even started to get old.

I don't see those items, dunno if I've managed to turn that "feature" off but I forgot Marketplace was there until my mate said it was ace for retro computer stuff.

Trouble is, it was made by Americans with no perception of distance so you search for something like "Dreamcast" and you find one really cheap only to discover the first one they show you is 200 miles away, collection only.

But yes. 50% iPhones which are probably 100% activation locked.
