The Lord of the Rings films, specifically tonight Return of the King. The arrival of Gandalf and Pippin to Minas Tirith, The lighting of the Beacons of Gondor, The Ride of the Rohirrim - I love it all, in no small part due to the music by Howard Shore.

Aye, plenty of amazing moments in there.

Jackson still deserves a massive slap for shitting all over the ending though.

The thing to do there is to park as close to the offside of the offending car as possible so they have to get in through the passenger door.

I wonder what this compromising information about the president to be is ? Cameo in a skin flick?

I saw two Nissan Tiidas in the same car park yesterday.

Just received the Octavia back after having the MOT advisories done; coolant flange (leaking) and new sensor, front discs and pads (worn) and cam cover gasket (leaking). I haven't had time to do it myself and found a good local backstreet guy.

Ever since I bought the car it's had a fluctuating idle, occaisional overboosting and has run a bit rich. I've not been able to work out why. No EML and all gauges bang on. Only fault codes that came up were a VW generic some shit is wrong but we're not going to tell you what. On googling it came up with a list of half the engine bay. I therefore filed it under 'Fuck that' and ignored it.

Replacing the coolant sensor appears to have fixed these faults. WIN!

Why is a leaking cam cover gasket an advisory? Ridiculous.

He's pretty much just invited everyone local to park as close as they can to him now. Mind you, he's the first person I've seen park like that with an actual decent car!

We've just had one of those set fire to a socket in our canteen 'cos the plug melted. Stay safe!

Plugged into the new ring main which has RCD and all that stuff.

Did your fire warm the room up?

Not terribly. It was useless in the workshop unless it was right next to you. Wasn't too bad in the bothy if we kept the doors shut.

They already do though that's the problem,

I was sitting in the car waiting on the misses and a car pulled in next to me and threw the door open against mine, I got out to look at it and said be more careful and the reply from the women was, you shouldn't park so close, wtf

Years back a family of chavs got out of a Corsa B and I saw the driver smack his door off my Renault with a complete lack of emotion. Being too much of a wimp to confront him I just asked the other half to return the favour with the passenger door once he was out of sight.

She waited until I was reversing out before striking which left a bit of a mess.

Oil leak that drips on the floor is an advisory as far as I know. Pretty sure it always has been.
