Not sure if I'll sell him when he's done, or give him to my gran for Christmas.

One of the joys of working from home is having the snooker on TV. Since when did snooker referees become:

a - Female?

b - Young?

c - Attractive?

:)

All started by Michaela Tabb really.

But what snooker? I didn't think there was 'owt on at the minute. I've wasted the afternoon watching Mythbusters (available on YouTube) and the truly excellent Ross Noble's Freewheeling (available on Dave).

There seems to be a new breed of Eastern European referees, all girls under 25.

The snooker's on Eurosport :)

Finally got the parents off bloody TalkTalk and onto Plusnet.

It only took a hack...

Going to try and wangle fibre optic too as seemingly they're too tight for the extra fiver a month, but I'm happy to put in £5 a month if they aren't.

LOL, my offer to pay the extra has made them do it themselves.

When I get stressed I struggle with creative focus. This week I've had one hell of an art block going on until I had this idea a couple of nights ago for a flower-lion. Got just enough focus to make a start on it and you know what, it's cheered me up because it's so adorable and silly. It's fun just thinking of different kinds of flowers to build his mane out of. Dahlia, hydrangea, tulip, Sweet William, Broom, daffodil, hibiscus, primrose, daisy, clematis, and buddleia so far.

Almost could be a kids TV thing... And make your millions.

Was in BV's neck of the London woods for work today, some cracking shite spots as always. Highlight was a well used Bentley with a very flat tyre, will stick some pics up when I figure out how

That prowlers probably a conversion . The dash is pretty symmetrical so easier than most to switch over I guess .

It'd be easy to spot of you turn the steering wheel right and the wheels go left...

There are some great spots in Central London..

Last Sunday I was walking through Hanover Square in Mayfair and parked amongst all the Rolls, Porsches and Ferrari's was a white MK4 Escort Ghia still with original 'Go Perrys' plates on.

Of course silly bollox forgot his camera !!  :-(

Tumble dryer packed up last weekend, and Mrs P started researching new ones.

I on the other hand covertly googled what the problem could be, isolated it to a failed £25 element which I have just replaced. And it's working like a charm. I am truly a God.

At least until the garage catches fire of course......

It's been pissing down since Monday and last night/early morning the wind was so strong the huge bins were flying up the street and the rain was horizontal! So, apart from brief dashes out in lulls for 'walkies' we have been stuck in the flat. This morning was more of the same but about lunchtime it stopped raining and by two this afternoon, the sun was shining and not a cloud in the sky! So, took the dogs out to the field where we all got very muddy and wet but at least got out of the house!

I seem to get very lethargic when I'm stuck indoors and stop doing anything. So it was great to get out.

Also, saw a Bentley Continental 'R' (proper British car not a VW) wooshing along and it quite cheered me up!

Didn't know Rohypnol tasted of anything. Whoops.

Rent A Cop on BBC iplayer. Fucking hilarious documentary following an absolute idiot around with his "private security" business in Darlington. Bloke claims to be an ex boxer, but he definitely took a few too many serious blows to the head.

Not sure if I'll sell him when he's done, or give him to my gran for Christmas.

get a nice frame for the pic once it's finished and give him to your nan, she will love it (cos nan's love things grandkids make for them) much more so that if you just bought her something (in my experience)

Nan likes flowers and lions, so it's pretty much the perfect gift.

I hadn't watched that Rent-a-Cop thing, I had assumed it was some sort of low budget mockumentary about a stripper and would be about as amusing.
