Managed to set off someone’s alarm just by starting up the Subaru. Wasn’t even an indoor car park.

the  Bangles  , it wasnt  Norway .it was  Liverpool , neither was it  a Bluebird , but  it was driven by Mr Spock , does  that sound logical?

My mates modified Beetle (I think a 66 or a 67? Whichever one had loads of year-specific parts...) was easily able to set the Qashqai's alarm off. That thing was an absolute beast, and it was badly put together when I was taken out for a spin in it - even then, it bloody well shifted. I believe it's been broken/sold for parts now in favour of his '72 one that he's owned for ages. Again, he really should be on here given his other car is a Mk1 Hyundai Coupe.

Was out at a local activity club last night and we had a tea break.  Noticed that somebody had inadvertently picked up the Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson commemorative wedding mug from 1986.  I laughed for a full minute.

Just like this one.  Apparently they have two in club's collection.

Two women nattering at the entrance to Farmfoods. Blocking the trolleys so I was there longer than usual and heard a bit of their conversation.

Obviously talking about someone who’d just died or been to the funeral.

How good he was etc then “no one had a bad word to say about him”. Followed by “but he could be a right bastard!”

Sitting in the village waiting for the Mrs. In front is a girl putting a Just Eat bag into her boot after coming out of Tesco Express. She waits 5 mins then retrieves the bag from the boot and delivers its contents to the business next Tesco. Bloody strange world we live in just now.

Just arranged to buy a car that I've always wanted on eBay.  I've had the Golf ten years and it's starting to have small issues that are adding up.  The Golf is insured until the end of September and MOT is in October (it will fail if I don't get it sorted) and this 'new' car has an MOT in August but has had clean MOTs for over a decade.

Going to pick it up next Saturday.  If it doesn't work out then I can sell it on here and take a small loss - it was cheap enough.  If it's good then I'll sell the Golf and make some of the money back.

It has a five cylinder engine.
