Both my kids birthdays tomorrow boy will be 17 and daughter 10. Partner has been baking cakes.

I'm taking my eldest daughter's partner, my nephew and my son karting on the outdoor track in Houghton le Spring. She's taking daughter and two of her mates to Gateshead to a slime spa day!?

My car (MK2 Seat Ibiza) passed its MOT first time today for the first MOT since January 2015, it has been off the road since December 2015 but started and moved about frequently. Only 4 advisories which I don't think is bad. The garage changed the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, alternator belt, ignition leads, new battery, thermostat, alignment and tracking, connected a new brake hose up on the OSF and bled the brakes and cooling system. I did a lot of work with my grandpa, two outer CV joints, service, new middle and rear silencer, repaired the rusty rear arches, resprayed the rear spoiler and top of the boot lid

Got black flagged there in the 2 seater. My son was 5 and screaming faster, faster..... I used to race in the Belgian championships and so was fairly quick. They pulled us in as they thought I'd flip it..... Nodded a couple of times and then went even faster 😁

Cake looks fantastic.....

then raided a kitchen cupboard to build myself a parcel shelf for a pair of speakers, the original smart speakers must be tiny as they sound awful

I don’t get anything like that kind of mpg out of my 0.7 turbo but I do drive it like a twat with the paddles , I wouldn’t say it’s slow .

what engine is it , I had a 1.0 mhd and it’s awful , the best one is the 1.0 turbo

Sponge.

I don't have a sweet tooth and probably won't be having any so can't really comment if it actually tastes of toadstools.

Should have a code cast into the manifold that you can see in the engine bay  starting with GM, usually these ones  are a GM44 with another letter after it such as GM44E

Happy to help with ID and value

That would be criminal.

While i agree its a shame. Its better to cash it in yourself and fit a pattern cheapo patter cat, than someone else to cash it in for you when its parked up somewhere.

Is that for manicat style?  I think an 8v will be a single wire sensor and the cat in the centre section iirc?

Id been told my old 1.7dti lumped astras cats had an okay value. Where do you value such an item?

Yes the GM44 is a manicat IIRC, haven't dabbled in old Vaux cats from some years so slightly hazy :)

If you can get codes off them there are a few websites that will give approx values, usually in polish Zloti but easy to convert to Sterling

HOW FUCKING MUCH MILES PER TANK?!? 🤣

I was getting to the last dot at about 200 and it'd be flashing me at 210 with 230 being the most I got before I decided I wouldn't risk it. It's almost as if me stressing it on the new A90/AWPR with all it's hill's and doing 70 wasn't what it was designed for...

As for the sound system, you've fitted a much more premium system than me...

that was just onto the last dot, it hadn’t started flashing so probably a few more to go :)

bear in mind that when i drove it home, i had a fairly mungous hangover so was taking it steady ! this whole ‘go to scotland, get pissed, buy a car’ thing is becoming an expensive habit :)

Says the man who has a wife with an Astra J, drives an Astra J GTC, has previously owned 3 off mk3 astras, a mk4 astra, 4 off mk2 cavaliers, and a mk3 cavalier and has first dibs on a pogweasel pink mk4 Astra.

Get in the Lionesses, truly made history, battered Germany in 1945,1966 and today, I'm not a big football fan but I've watched all the England matches this tournament, and I'm not disappointed, thoroughly enjoyed it, puts the mens team to shame in my opinion, all that needs to change is them getting paid the same as the men
