Got suggested this- Eclectic powered cars. Conversation in  Dutch. 2CVs being modified in 2014.

However,it gets better. In the side bar was another video of a Dutch electric 2Cv. This one is dated 2010.

No commentary and no real details.

The Professionals 40th anniversary. I did find the commentary a bit quiet.

Not really a channel I would choose to watch.

However, back last year and because of Covid his channel content was drying up. He purchased and recommissioned a 1982 Cabover Peterbilt.

He has been using to haul oversized loads . That is quite an achievement.

This video starts of with a chat to camera. For me, the interesting bit is where he starts to roll out of the parking and along the road (5:30ish)  Boy the sound, the exhaust stacks, The patina of the cab. I love it.

Anyone know what the (presumably Post Office) van is at 0:46?

I tried various reg combos  as it's unclear - KJ?213P or is it MJ?213P

2 delights from the same channel.

Cars cars cars,

The life of @dozeydustmans grandfather?

Lol.

Sadly he was a motor engineer who cut his teeth on an AEC Matador, not a bin man

The Daimler SP250 Dart was never a looker but bloody hell that's ugly.

Cool technology for the time though.

I very much enjoyed this! love that the Lada Niva is back in the UK in some sort of semi-official capacity

lovely "late registration madness" with the 21 plate :)

if only I had the means to buy one!

its interesting too looking at it on the DVLA checker online shows no CO2 rating, so that means it goes by Pre 2001 Tax rates from what I understand

which gets around any potentially crippling road tax issues :)

perhaps  solution for @Zelandeth until he can afford a Tesla? I mean its got Power steering now so the rest of the household should be able to manage it right? :)

(I just want to see someone on here buy a new Nivia, or UAZ 452 or 469 LOL)
