Don't forget the Laura Ashley/Kath Kidstone wallpaper to line the parts of it you can never see.

Has it got an odd coloured drivers door?

Won't bother with a full collection thread but tonight this was achieved

Pure giffer spec, one owner, full service history, back seats never been used. Years test too. Needs nothing mechanically, inside is spotless with bonus original Nissan radio cassette.

On the downside it has a severe case of pog weasel.

Being told your baby is going to hospital in an ambulance with the blues because of something life threatening is the stuff of nightmares.

Tonight I had that nightmare- Charlie had been coughing since yesterday and his breathing was laboured - GP called for an ambulance due to him having croup.

He is staying in overnight- will have to see how he is in the morning. I have aged ten years tonight.

Thoughts are with you Bren,  my brood have scared the shit out of me a few times.

Posted

That is just horrible Bren, hope the little one is OK.

It was bad enough finding out Mrs and Junior the Princess were in a car crash last week and I didn't find out until I was told they were OK.

Same happened to our youngest when he was a few weeks old. Bronchiolitis. Tense few days hope all is good Bren

Not sure it's better to find out sooner. I got a call back in 2009 from a friend, telling me Mrs DW had been in a crash and the car was upside down 'but it's ok. We can't see her but she sounds ok.'

I drove there as fast as I could, until I realised that I was in the 2CV, just driving at my usual pace...

Thankfully, a few bruises only, but certainly got the heart rate going.

Oh, and I had a blues and twos experience as a small child. As Cats says, children are great for terrifying adults. I hope your child mends swiftly.

Beard stuck in the cat flap?

Charlie couldn't be in a better place if he is poorly.

Blues and twos is worrying but it just means they aren't taking any chances.

Fingers crossed for you all.

I had exactly the same with my eldest...A very scary time indeed. However she's now 22 and as fit as a fiddle, as I'm sure Charlie will be too.

Virtual hugs.

All the best for the little one Bren.

When I used to do paeds I found croup terrifying, they get so sick so fast. Luckily once they're in hospital you've got all the right meds and all the right people to get them well again just as fast.

Hope he's home soon.

Fingers crossed, Bren. Sorry to hear of your news.

Another one her for bronchiolitis, Charlie had it when he was a few months old. Be prepared for days of tests and monitoring. They get through it, when we were in they had a whole ward of tiny children with it.

Take plenty of car mags to read! Best of luck. It's the time of year, gets too cold for them to adjust quickly enough.

Evas got a horrible cough this weekend too, she's 4 though so past the stage now hopefully

Watch the little chaps breathing, Charlie's went really weird and his chest and stomach properly inverted.

I hope you don't get an idiot trying to grt a canuler in like we had, took her 40 minutes and she still didn't get it in, I was about to deck her (figure of speech) when Charlie pretty much passed out with exhaustion and she gave up. Then I started to cry

Thoughts with you bren, wee lad had bronchiolitis when he was 11 months. As beko says they get over it, but really not nice to see at all.

Hope all ok Bren. I know this kind of feeling in the pit of your stomach.
