Picked this up today brand new off the forecourt on behalf of my employer. 1.0 petrol 7 seater; €24,000 out the door with a bottle of wine and air freshener on the passenger seat. No negotiations, no trade ins. There were about 5 other people picking up identical examples at the same time as me. 

Not very shite but an interesting experience all the same. I never would have guessed that it was a 1.0, I initially thought it to be a 1.5/1.6 by how it drove. Feels surprisingly well put together too

Beautiful morning so decided to take the Saab to work. Probably coming of the road at the end of the week so I can start taking it to bits.

Then I went home and finished what I started yesterday and lobbed sand on the now clean drive. Put far too much on, took ages to brush off. But done.

I don't know if anyone else watched it last night, but the new Wheeler Dealers series started with a Pug 205 Rallye.
What I didn't realise was quite how startling the prices are now for pretty much any Pez Pug.

I mean, the one they got, whilst it was generally in good shape rust wise, they felt they got a bargain for a heavily underpowered 1.4 engine with some rotten paintwork, 2 broken bumpers and a scabby interior.

to be fair it just looks like every other 'individual' T/4/5/6, also can't see if its been lowered and had shit wheels put on it to further ruin the driving 'experience'

I got one because there were 2 guys blatantly prowling, looking into houses for dogs to steal. I don't have a dog but lots of neighbours do. There are also quite a few shady characters driving in and out my street so it give a small bit of peace to me.

420GSI that, he's ended up with it back and it's for sale for slightly too much. Paul is optimistic with his Rover antics I think. 

When he says something's a keeper that just means it gets a slightly longer stay of execution. 

He ended up with my old 416GTI, no idea what became of that as it's been on SORN for the last year.
