Two DREADFUL photos, none of which show the entire car.

No MOT.

A vendor who has refused to reply to my emails over the last 10 days... tries shill bidding against me...then bottles it and finally messages me 5 minutes before auction end.

More money than I've spent on a car in 7 years.

Don't even want the car, just one bit of it.

Only bloody won it.

Serious, serious explaining to do.

Sadly not. It's not even for me, and i know nothing about what I've just bought.

More tomorrow once I've had a word with myself.

5 litres of own-brand 5w/30 (all) Vauxhall ('s are shit) spec oil was down from £20 to £13 in my local Asda this evening. All their 5l oils were, so thats the service for the Saab largely sorted for next month then.

Wait for it to blow up and me to be ridiculed for saving £7 on shit oil in due course.

Yeah I've just found that online, I'm going for a couple of bottles of any old shit to use as flushing oil, might even leave it in if they have the right grade for the van.

I just looked at last years MOT on the Cadillac and it says Make: GENERAL MOTORS, MODEL: CADILLAC.

Just tried the MOT website with these details and it's only passed with no advisories. W@@T

Gonna get a needle in the eye today. It'll be fun.

Success!

My eyes now both look vaguely in the same direction at the same time. And with contacts in, I can see with both of them.

Would you not keep dropping the garage door before the fucking things right out?

I was a bus wanker this morning because I've no rear seat belts to strap the kids in the back of the car. I've not gone Rolf, there's no seats either.

Anyway all the way to Nantwich some cunt kept ringing the bell even though we were miles from a stop. Eventually the driver got pissed off, turned round and told me to stop leaning on the handrail.

Topped up the oil and cleaned off tape residue on the tailgate with thinners.

Still my favourite mk3 panda mum has it now, she says at every MOT if it's too much do i want it back - of course I do!

In Tesco Hexham ATM... Well fit MILF just surged past me, followed by junior >> BraFail 9/10

She was going up/down/sideways (occasionally in synchrony) like Marty Feldmans eyes.

Gotta love total-loss oil corrosion prevention systems. :D

The oil change I did on the Saab was with that oil. Seemed to really not mind it and ran much smoother than the old oil in it before.

Well, the Camry’s not going to be finished today and TBH if it was I know that getting it insured and taxed would be a load of hassle. Also, I’d rather have had at least a few days road use before taking it to the trackday tomorrow.

I’m booked-in though, so what to take instead? The E-reg Sunny would be quite amusing as it’s surprisingly brisk, or there’s the Laurel (which I do actually have a spare set of wheels and tyres for). The track is big so there’ll be plenty of room to keep out of the way of other people, which I think will be an important consideration with either of them…..

And your eyes

.... like our lads, in the Falklands, I could only track one incoming at a time  :?

Oooo..Ooooooo.. FFFFFF  :blink2:

I've never seen a Panda in that colour scheme before. Some sort of special edition? Whatever it is, it looks brilliant!

Wicked, that means I don't have to replace the thermostat in the gooner until it's too late this winter! Thanks

Got the job I interviewed for on Weds :D

Good news, congratulations!

Fusion handed over to my local mech for oil/filter and new plugs.

Hoping the plugs might solve it's stammer/hesitation (and it's not core plugs or leaking water jets as suggested before by Kiltox and twosmoke). We'll see on a 90 mile round trip to Dartford tomorrow.

In true old Ford style, there's other issues of course - he's spotted a driveshaft oil seal leak and the PAS pump is a little damp(?)

Running well. I can haz smooth acceleration again.

Been de giffering the 800. Gradually and carefully removing various rattle can touch ins. The paint wasn't even a close match and even more strangely I've yet to find any damage to the original paint underneath in all the areas I've tacked so far. Strange. It is though quite satisfying to do as it's looking lots tidier. I eventually got bored and went for a drive instead....
