Oh dear.

Still, it’s nice that we all like different things. But I don’t see the attraction in them (plural) at all.

Masochism level UNLIMITED.

Oh my word. TWO OF THEM?

It can't be? Surely?

Care to help those of us that don't do Farcebook out here, folks?

Licked or unlicked? The public need to know.

Licked i'm afraid. Have a look on his twitter link. I'm not one for swearing but its fucking class.

I still think this is to throw us off the scent but I could well be wrong!

I can't speak for the others, but after all the build-up and drama if it's not a Lonsdale YD45 or a derelict tank I am going to be MIFFED.

Haha, Invacars. Hopefully one with a steering wheel & one with handlebars for maximum shite points.

They're not road legal anymore though IIRC, so there'll be no roadtrip back to Wales.

I think you can get them back on the road somehow. Spoke to a chap at a show in the borders who somehow has his road legal.

We already had the road legality discussion on Farcebook, apparently ones that are privately owned are still fine to be used on the road.

Would love a drive of one of these, wonder if they handle like a Rialto?

It is the invacars. There were more there than just these two too. Good to meet you Ian, and to anyone wondering, neither of them will be driving anywhere for the moment.

Hmmm... multiple Invacars.

Could a single-marque rally/racing series be about to launch in mid-Wales, perhaps?

I do hope you'll have one ready for next year's Bulgaria trip, Ian.

invacars were ordered to be destroyed?????????

So were Royal Observer Corps bunkers, they largely weren't destroyed but land owners took the money anyway.

With the sliding doors you could do a kind of three wheeler croquet.

They were. And yet here they are. I'll let Ian tell the story, but the short version is that they were destined to be scrapped, and it just never happened.

Wow I am actually surprised then! I hope they get painted in a different colour, I would love a black Invacar.

'Nurse, he's finally lost his marbles.  Get a bed ready for the new inmate will you'.

Will look forward to how this pans out!

Bloody hell.

Last time I saw one of these was in the Coventry Motor Museum a few years back.

Tucked away in the corner.

Seemed to be immaculate.

Was the only car I took a picture of during the visit, and had to explain to the kids what it was.....

Not on FB, so what's the plans for it/them?
