It’s got more cylinders than doors.

Could be two doors and three cylinders... we might need a bit more to work with. 😂

Not useful, but it was nearly this- which is yet to  end

More doors than cylinders that. In fact more doors than horse power 😁

I'm thinking one door and two cylinders.

weird to actually see this one actually pictured!

I have known about it for a few years now through my DVLA research as it wears a form of a very early age related number plate (its an early import not a british domestic market machine)

but I have never actually seen a picture of it until now LOL

Nah, it's obviously a single cylinder without doors.

I was thinking along the lines of something with 1 Cylinder no doors and not even a steering wheel

I did fancy some discounted pork, but didn’t want dodgy guts afterwards.

Very cheap boxsters were mainly silver, with  cheap cover plates to hide the age. Sometimes a category c/d. They often looked fairly tidy but I didn’t want to be a wannabe Porsche 911 owner, not did I want nasty unexpected bills. No thanks. Not feeling brave.

So instead I went for something altogether a bit cruder and more conventional, and even cheaper still. 2.0 inline 6 Manual. Sounds amazing but not quick; so well suited to the car.

  • HMC changed the title to HMC- LIVE- collection Z car

Looks really nice. I thought the 2l ones of these were the 4 pot, with the 6 cyl in the 2.5?

These are a bargain at the mo, if you ask me, along with the contemporary SLK. You won't lose a penny on it, esp with that colour / interior combo.

That looks awesome. Lovely colour.
What happened/is happening to the Saab?

Will sell it, I’m using it to put a plate I’ve got  onto retention in my name, when the paperwork is back I will put it (back) up for sale.

That colour is gorgeous. Not seen it before but it's gone right up there with techno violet in terms of BMW colours. Had the same engine in a 520i. Like you say, not fast but sounds lovely and silky smooth

There's about three of these on my estate and they never seem to move. Nice to see one on a road!

Does look like a lovely colour too.

Well snagged.

Is that cheddar gorge?

I've had my Boxster for 3 years in a few days. Cat D and I'm tempted to put a cover plate on it. 🤣

Certainly no regrets in changing from my TT Mk2 for it. I did consider selling it the other week but after I started it up and went for a drive, decided that was a stupid idea.

My neighbour was a 911 owner (now Audi R8) and his brother was a Boxster owner. He conceded the Boxster he enjoyed drive on the road more and the price difference between that and his 996 didn't justify any differences. Yes they can be expensive to run but there are good specialists about. I can recommend SCS Porsche in Honiton. Not a million miles away from you.

I went back via cheddar gorge.  Did a pap of another fellow enthusiast whist getting a pic of the new acquisition.

Came for the car, stayed for the corduroy.
