He did a video call with me, i was a bit concerned about that, but apparently not rusty but the vinyl roof is flapping about. it was about 3k, then 1500 quid, and then i took the bait at £895. This after him spending 10k on it. Apparently he bought it off a dodgy Greek character in the East end. AnthonyG, Dave_Q, Coprolalia and 1 other 2 2

I think it was quite common to have lower spec stretched cars to shuffle folk between terminals .

I was wondering that, you see way more town car stretches than these, and these are just unglamourous work wagons. cort16 1
Schaefft Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Why does this exist lol. I guess someone used it as airport shuttle, why it is in the UK is anybody's guess though. At under 900 quid it's a total bargain and epic purchase. No clue how anyone can spend 10 grand on a crown Vic either, even with 3k of bodywork. Literally everything is dirt cheap for them. Datsuncog Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 You'll need an outfit to go with this. Should fit the bill, no?

Andyrew Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 This has to be the same one that a kwality used car dealer had locally for years on the court. 895 for anything yank seems silly cheap. timolloyd 1

A car dealer in dunstable at the end of frenches avenue. Think the had it up for 2 or 4 grand at first then it sat for ages outside the cash and carry next door.

HMC Posted August 11, 2023 Author Posted August 11, 2023 Ive figured out its about 6.2 metres long more or less- a bit longer than an extended wheelbase phantomand about the length of a medium wheelbase new sprinter. This posed a few challenges in finding, remotely, parking in london. In the end i decided to have it overnight in q park park lane, which is a short walk away and usually has a variety of interesting vehicles in ( although it will probably be the only stretched crown vic) im hoping for some eccentric stuff to spot, amongst teslas, ferrari , etc. Bit like a car show without the people. Three Speed, privatewire, mk2_craig and 5 others 8
HMC Posted August 16, 2023 Author Posted August 16, 2023 En route to london for a rendez-vous * with a film producer, to buy his ropey limo * i will not strap a camera to the front of the crown vic and drive at high speed around soho, i promise. egg, LightBulbFun and Burnside 3
