On the car park at Sainsbury's in Oldbury, F reg Nissan Sunny hatch, R reg Toyota Corolla 5 door and something I hadn't seen for ages, an H reg Ford Granada GL 4 door saloon. The Sunny and Corolla are regulars but the Granada was a pleasant surprise and in very nice condition too.

There is a red, V plate Ford Escort parked on my nextdoor neighbour's drive.

Which end of the plate is the V?

Ayrshire registered Y-reg 3 series in black at a set of lights in the West End of Glasgow. You'd have thought it had just come out of the showroom.

While I was heading north on my Triumph bits collection trip, I spotted a black D reg Sierra cruising up the motorway. Looked like a nice spec, and in good nick.

For bonus rep points, it had a jacket (or maybe a shirt) hanging in the back seat. Loses rep points for doing under the speed limit and not being on a comically large mobile phone, however.

Saw this going through Dumfries on a trailer this evening.  I believe there is only one in existence.  (Not my photo obviously).

Seen this going by me as I was coming out of Crocketford on that day.

Was a surprise to see it.

A mint white BMW E36 316/18/20 from 1991/2 (J reg), going through a car wash at Sainsburys, Tewkesbury Rd, Cheltenham. Only saw the front and side view so a guess on the model, but it was obv a entry-level one from all the black bits that would have been body colour on posher ones.

The only thing I could see wasn’t base spec were the alloys, which were period BMW ones and may well have been the original optional extras.

I do see the odd very clean E36 saloon around Gloucestershire, including a red one - that was amazingly still red - so they are still out there!

Saw a Pugrot 107 on the way to work today, and it had a towbar fitted. Didn't notice any rice puddings with the skin missing nearby

L-reg Passat 1.9 TD going very slowly and puffing out plenty of coal smoke.

Not seen it before, I wonder if it's a local farmer/giffer type owner.

I remember when these felt 'modern'. Not just a diesel, but a turbo diesel! How space age!
