Right,

I've just had a bit of shit day with another one of my cars, which I've now had to start fixing in the pissing rain.

I've come indoors to find an amazing offer from a group of what I can only assume are truly unstable people! In the nicest possible way! I'm over the moon with what was said and the guys in question are real gents. This place is... and all that.

Just need to wait and see now.

I won't reply to every PM as I've recieved quite a few but it looks like a deal is now done and, most importantly the cars in good hands.

I'll let the new owner(s) do the customary collection bit and make themself known. I'm just glad it's safe and sound and this makes me feel much better about this whole situation.

Glad its sold to someone on here.

Although would have been nice to know it was for sale again after you'd put a pause on it when I first contacted you.

Still, at least its safe

I'm just glad it's no longer available because my willpower was running out ( and I'm still called Essexman)

I was just about to clear space for this in my lock up ... as long as it stays safe and doesn't get oval led or flipped for a quick buck

Reading between the lines, that's not likely to happen.

I solemnly swear that we will never race it and will not flip it for profit, nor is it likely to get all the character restored out of it any time soon. Shite cars for shite people.

Breadman and I are hatching a plot to go and collect the Granny next week. Using all the combined commercial acumen* of BV, Junkman and myself we managed to haggle the price up a bit, but it's in a very good cause which is Dan's restoration fund. This also guarantees we won't just flip it as we've already given Dan a bunch of the potential profit.

Apologies if we have trodden on anyone else's toes in this process, that genuinely wasn't our intention or Dan's.

Pez station shot soon, maybe Wednesday.

And only £80 quid for the train ticket not bad from Scotland to the south coast.

Fair play, that's brilliant. Well done to you both.

Apols to all who R disappoints.  Whatever happens, the car is staying in Shiteworld.  It may be that in due course some others who wanted a go will get a go, but the main thing is that the car is saved from ovalling, mattblacking, scening, flipping, and (probably) restoring.  Frankly, I think it looks super-awesome just as it is.

Hopefully comedic collection thread still at conceptual stage, but hang on in there.

We need to try and make sure that the Sierrabase and the Grenader make appearances at Shitefest 2K17.

this is all great news. If there was a list of the autoshite 'unsellables' I reckon this should be on it.

Happy that it's staying in AS custody and that Dan got a better price than £850, which would have frankly been giving it away and put it in danger of being ovaled, I'd say that's a result all round

Look forward to the collectioneering

Good news all round, I reckon.  Gold stars to all concerned.

Skizzer/Junkman consortium, really.  I'm the sleeping partner.

We're all the sleeping partner really.  Especially if our respective wives are asking.

I r dissapoint. The upside is that I will just have to buy a bigger car with a bigger engine to upset the tree rapists.

Nice job chaps. If there's ever a custody battle I think you're fucked skizzer. :)

I plan to do my sleeping when at the wheel.

Complex and ill-tempered multi-jurisdictional litigation about that has already started.   There are some real problems owing to non-existence of the rule of law in Wales and Manchester.  Junkman has specified an address for service at some broken down Schloss near Transylvania.

Much custard may be spaffed when we actually get to see the Grenadier in all its ratty splendour.

To start with, the yarmouth will be parked up at my place.
