Great number plates - got any?

Just been passed (at about 95) by YAY 69 on a stiletto white BMW coupe.

I'm fairly sure that this is just a standard issue registration; I'd not be mega happy if I went to the Kia dealer to pick up my new Sportage to find it with this plate.

Watching an old repeat of Inspector Lynley today made around 2003.  Suspect car had a reg 

LK 46  XYZ (can’t actually remember the last letters). . Not once did any of the police say,” that’s a fake plate.”

Getting with with parking fines, no tax, no insurance, the lot, that's what. I've mentioned on here before how much freer motoring is when you have a fake numberplate, this one is a bit silly but I'm amazed it's not more prevalent.

I haven't tried those, as the plate is 4X. If he's fitted them illegally he deserves the ticket.

It does seem a strange choice if you're trying to scam DVLA. Unless you just want rid of the car.

My mother was thrilled when we went to fetch their then new Qashqai from the dealer where she used to work as a sales admin. Less so when I pointed out the last 3 of the plate said arsey (RCY). Not sure if intentional on the garage's part but they no longer have the franchise!

Here it was spotted in Italy on platesmania. I'm a plate geek so kinda wanted to provide closure 😆

House near me has a Saxo VTS on the drive with the registration "VTS 16V." Looks to not have been on the road for a few years.

Unrelated to this thread topic, but the house couple of doors away from the Saxo has 3x Granada Scorpios on the drive, which look in various states of repair, and a couple more doors down from that has a J-reg Honda Concerto.
