Great number plates - got any?

Not sure why you'd want your reg to say 'version' but I saw VER510N on a BMW today. Also A1 VET on some Land Rover thing - I wonder what that guy does for a living and if he's any good at it?

Haven't seen it myself but a showman called Freddie Stokes has F 570KES on one of his lorries. It seems to be the done thing these days for showmen to have private plates on their 4x4s and it's a good game working out who they belong to from the reg - another that sticks in my mind is G 6ESS owned by George Gess.

I like seeing "waste of a number plate" cars.    Spotted one today (unfortunately sans camera because I have a 1990s phone and an Olympus Trip neither of which I lug around with me).     "MAX 3" is on a doom blue 206 with placcy wheel trims.   Class!

I saw BO08IES on a BMW a good while ago, obviously the 8 had been done as a B making it read BOOBIES didn't see the driver sadly.

I've seen a few good 'uns lately, LOG 800K on a Transit flat bed pleased me.

I used to see SPL 1F on a Volvo belonging to a trader at Brentwood market, and 9 POO on a MK1 Fiesta in the same area.

i wonder if SH17 POO will be allowed to be issued ?  well actually any SH17  numbers  rather than  them jumping to SJ or issuing TH instead.

or even SH17TER

Saw FOS51L on a generic Passat yesterday. It was seemingly driven by a Grey old gentleman.

that reminded me that former Norton rotary racebike rider Trevor Nation had TNA 710N on his car some years ago.

Apparently my great granddad refused to buy a secondhand car back in the 50s just because the registration letters were WEE.

AN08 OHH on a locally seen Mondeo, although just a standard plate, it does cause some minor 'lols' whenever I see it.

Used to be a Mercedes in Tonbridge . 16 COX .  One day i was taking an aged lady ( I knew her quite well)  to a mutual friends funeral, she saw it and said   " Oooh , that's a bit rude ..Sixteen cocks "

Anyhow, this has put me in mind of a certain local hotelier with that surname.

He owns a very happy Mercedes.
