That's just brilliant! I'm incredibly jealous of your car collection!

Things you only see on Autoshite #2461.

Thanks.

I'll do a decent report over the weekend... But it's a bloody, bloody good car. Far better than it deserves to be for £500.

I'm genuinely amazed nobody bid against me at the end.

Unless I'm just deluded that is...

Yes just yes, I'm glad i put the link to it on the autoshite sierra base thread now

Holy shit! This is brilliant! All you need now is the crusty estate around the corner from me. Needs the steels and the 2-slat hubcaps refitting though! Superb!

Jesus, a Y plater! How the hell has a Sierra lasted for nearly 34 years?

Just wow really.

Man and machine and then another machine in perfect harmony.

The word 'legend' was crafted just for you.

That'll be due to the coordination of the grey plastic shoes with the Sierra's unpainted bumpers. FASHION.

All aboard attachicon.gif20160415_115651.jpg

Almost certain nobody else is off to buy a mediocre 80s rep mobile.

This is full of win, this site gets better every day, this could only be trumped by a 1.3 base 3 door, ar a left hand drive mk2 3 door

Excellent!!

That's a really interesting colour combo!!

Top buyage!

You Sir are a hero of our time.

It's a lovely colour although I suspect the only limited edition thing about it are the Wilco stickers!!

Nice to see that Leslie Grantham previously owned this fine autoshitemobile.

Just need a 'DEN & ANGE' sunstrip across the windscreen I guess...

Sack off that Blaupunkt stereo, a Ford brand push button MW/LW radio should sit sit there for ultimate shite points

Brill.

Let's have a picture of them together!

Forest Green. I have pulled that from my childhood...

This is a good point actually. What does actually make it a limited edition?

A lot of Ford dealers did their own specials at the time, mostly basic spec cars with a fancy stripe down the sides or similar.

The last Sierra special edition I saw was a mk1 in Rio brown, with some really cool 80's stripes down the sides and 'Laser' decals on the rear quarters in the stripes. (No relation at all to the Capri Laser decals btw).

Although there was an actual factual Sierra Laser, friends of my grandparents had one. Blue and silver with the same decals as the Capri. I think it was a C plate.

There's a good chance I'm wrong then about the Laser decals. It would make sense if they borrowed them from the Capri.

Wonder if there's any Sierra Laser's still around?

the sierra laser may have been a runout of the ph1 cos ph2 started on d plate

Forest Green.  A colour that is neither green nor blue to my eyes but both at the same time.  Like that Triumph colour that appears to be both brown and purple simultaneously.

This.

It is, in fact, a Phase 1 Sierra Laser that started this whole thing off. Dad had one...it was lovely.

Is it not Pine Green? Forest Green was normally metallic

The metallic green was crystal green, nice colour although sadly referred to as goose shit green by a friend. She used to drive a Golf.
