Rovorsche
Not quite abandoned but a former award winning SD1 on C0Part is almost as good as dumped. V8 Manual, 49000 miles. A bit sorry on one corner. In 2006 "Best V8 was A782 OUD. (No picture available)" https://www.roversd1club.net/events/2006/nationalreport.asp https://www.copart.co.uk/lot/43753029 I would register in their forum and let them know but being a Rover Forum it has failed to proceed. bunglebus
bunglebus
I found this one in about 2002, where my old VW panel van had been hiding in a barn. That looks well fixable. A lot of long term SD1 lickers have huge parts stashes from when they cost buttons so hopefully it;s went to one of them and it's on its way back to the road. The cross over period for the facelift K11s was on an 1998 R-reg. The above is a pre-facelift 1999 Micra Inspiration so this was either imported or registered very late. DVLA site isn't working and hasn't done for the last 3 or 4 days. I did get this though: This is what a T-reg Micra would usually look like:
bunglebus
DVLA is working but I had to go to the main page then find the bit about vehicle tax from there - my usual shortcut doesn't work

quicksilver
There's a 60-reg Hyundai i10 (modern!) in our private car park at work that looks fine but is clearly dumped. Tax due on 26 March (implying it was cashed in rather than just expiring) and MOT ran out in September. Our security put a notice on it a month ago asking for it to be removed but it hasn't been touched since and now has a council disposal notice so it isn't long for this world. Rod/b
I’m currently staying in Newhaven, Leith, near the Queens old boat. It’s abandoned shite central here. In the basement of the apartment block here there’s a green Ka that hasn’t been MOTd in 10 years, a Ford C Max thats a year out of MOT and an 8 year old Fiesta left neglected too. More impressively someone has dumped a nightfire red Rover 800 coupe in the multi-storey at Ocean Terminal mall. It’s on level D of the Red Car Park if you’re in the area and you’re interested. quicksilver
Found this mouldy Saab in the corner of a pub car park yesterday. Looks like it did the Monte Carlo or Bust rally three years ago and has been sat here since it got back, on SORN and out of MOT since November 2016. Jerzy Woking
Been meaning to take photos of this car for years. It is in the underground garage where I am, and has not moved in at least 8 years to my knowledge. I dont know the full story, but it is very shortly going to be removed by the property management company. Being stored underground in a warm climate seems not to have done the body much harm. Jerzy Woking
Situated close to Rojales on the Costa Blanca in Spain. Hungarian plated. My understanding is that the owner sold his house/had it reposessed by the bank some time ago, but left this in their parking space. They now owe a lot in fees. A lot more that the car is worth, especially with no keys, no papers and on foreign plates. Not even sure if a scrappy here can take it without papers. mitsisigma01
