That's wedge porn right there! Looks amazing.

Staggeringly good.  Presumably this is not just 'better than new' but colossally Better than new, as my memory of the paint on these was dire to say the least.

Well done though - but looking at it, what a shame that such a bold and imaginitive car didn't become a world beater.

Thanks for sharing.

Good work Sir.

Absolutely STUNNING.

So glad you kept the number plate too. All helps with the history of the car. Sadly won't be able to see it at the NEC this year.

Cap well and truly doffed.

They look so much better today than  way way back in the olden times.

Well most of the work on our Morris is now complete and we can now tinker and titivate to get the car right for the road. Thanks to everyone for their kind comments and support during the work and as you've been so good here's a few photos. I did try to embargo pictures until the NEC show but it's going to be in a few publications before then, so what the hell...

If that isn't the front cover of the AS 2016 calendar, I don't know what is.

I'm moist! Well done once again, a fleet of red wedges too in 3 flavours. How utterly full of win!

Splendid. I am drinking Champagne reading this, and I raise my glass! Damn fine show.

I like Princesses, a lot. But all I can think liking at that picture is that the one on the right's registration is an anagram of I SM3GM4.

Lovely looking things. That they weren't more successful is arguably BL's biggest failure.

That is wedgetastic, the pic with all 3 is just overload, gorgeous car that is a credit to everyone who was involved

Utterly utterly fantastic to see it finished.

I don't know which is more pleasing, that the car exists or that there are people in this world prepared to sink time and money into a pile of scrap metal. More than a little heroic.

I had to squint when I saw this picture on the FB page this weekend, I couldn't believe that this was the same car that Nick Larkin had rescued all those years ago.

Harris Mann will no doubt be very proud to put his name to the car once again.

Good work Sir.

I have just raised two hats to compensate

As a major contributor to this resto (and new member to this forum) I'd like to thank all you kind people for the amazingly positive comments on Maurice.   Also, as  an aside for all those concerned about the safety of the car on the trolley jack by the side of the road when the butterfly bush 'exploded' the car was supported by an axle stand under the front wishbone bush for all the reasons previously stated!

I have gone out and bought a hat just so I could raise it.

I shall retain it for future hat raising / eating scenarios

Seriously impressive work. No doubt you won't want Harris defiling it with a marker pen so perhaps get a vinyl decal of his signature to mark it out as a special edition?

Ticket booked for NEC - i'll be the one drolling over the bonnet !!!!!!
