It isn't quite as good as the pics make out. The bonnet is a bit rough and it has had a rear end shunt, and has been repaired to mot standard only. The bloke who sold it to me said it had been in storage (he didn't mention a barn) for a while. I checked the tax disc and it appears that it was last on the road in 2008.

I'm not optimistic about parts situation tbh. I think it is a design that sort of blends in a bit better than other 80s cars do. When I tell people it is 31yr old most are surprised.

There's tonnes of the buggers still on the roads here, so I reckon parts shouldn't be too difficult for you to find if need be. However, you'd have to specify air freight so the parts turn up before it's sold! 

 

There's even a few of the Turbo's knocking about but these are all Japanese imports. Here's one I spotted a few years back (with bonus giffer driver):
