He has probably put it in with his tachograph charts so he doesn't lose it

... Until he gets pulled and two of your cars are marooned three hours down the country at a DVSA checkpoint;  Could take days to sort out and in the meantime you've got your winners all over FB saying 'I never received my car' and 'this is all a scam'.  Unlikely perhaps, but worth thinking about.  Not trying to be a dick about it as it's none of my business and, hey, for all I know he is 100% compliant.  But most beavertail + trailer combo's you see around are not, because an HGV Operator's Licence and tacho are required for anything over 3.5t , and the trailer takes it over that threshold.

WHS. We used to travel all over the country banger racing with a similar setup ( Sprinter 416 towing a twin axle trailer with a car on each) and we got stopped several  times . Fortunately the sprinter was 4.6 tonne GVW and 6.6 tonne GTW  and I had an operators licence for work. The setup certainly seemed to attract attention from plod.

You're right, it's none of your business.

Picked up a Trabant tonight,  I'm trying to stick to a 1 in 1 out policy so the W123 has to go.

The Merc, then the Trabbi and now a BT Maestro!

You are on fire at the moment!

That would make some coin doing tv work , totally authentic for anything set 80s/90s , all you need is the donkey jacket and tartan flask

This would equally work for that sort of thing. It'll make better money raffling it than waiting for film and tv work.

It was a tough choice but all of these are going this month.

I have a whole load of shite lined up for the coming months so need to clear some space.

Ooooff....that Chevette. Like my older, beigier one.

MOT exempt - any glaring shite that'd likely need tending to if it wasn't @RetroShite?

Never entered before, but unlikely to be able to resist that one

I need to get a Chevette ticket. My Grampa had the same car in metallic blue with black vinyl and red tartan interior.

Oh you fuckin beezer. Identical to the one I was given when I was 16 year old. Woman who gifted it to me was a complete milf. Mine had the metal bumpers though. If it had they plastic ones the mot tester would have missed the galloping rust that would have been hiding underneath

Nice! the e bay add sounded like it was a bit of a local landmark where it used to be. Just how i remember them.

Looked like it had an uncertain future going by Instagram. Maybe the funds will go towards sorting his burnt Solara (if he still has it, his posts are rather rambling and confusing)

That Maestro used to appear a street over from me. So it used to travel from the south west to Edinburgh for spells at a time.

Then disappeared and found it for sale on ebay, after I bought mine.

Anyway. Should make a good giveway motor.
