Yes I know that 😂

It's for others following this thread that maybe interested to see where the old forum car has ended up and want to follow the future owners progress with it.

Fair play, you don’t half find some nice cars

E36 Coupe looks nice but should be a 323i with 170PS. The 325i was available until '95ish and had 192PS. The later 325i was an E46.

You are correct, it's a 323i.

I just saw e36 with 2.5 engine and presumed 325.

I can see the future Facebook comments already with people arguing if it's a 323 or 325!🤣

Nice car though!

Nice car though!

It's bad enough at the moment with the Cortina Pickup, last week it was it's a Sportrak not a Fourtrak, this week it's a P100, not a Cortina.

The P100 is a foot longer and this is a SWB Fourtrak with a Sportrak Canopy, it's still a Fourtrak.

Now that I like.  I've never said that about any BMW before.

Not a bad driving car, I was seriously considering just keeping it.

I would imagine it might have the potential to be one of your best raffling cars in terms of profit? People go extraordinarily wild for old 6 cyl engines BMWs.

95% chance it'll get stanced by a future owner too.

Probably not, it wasn't exactly cheap and I don't think it'll capture the imagination of people quite as much as say the 240 GLT Turbo estate.

Saw this post in the passing, didn't think anything of it then despite the short plate holder. Only realised it's a Thai export because a FB post of the guy who exported it suddenly show up!

Our "swanky new unit" is nearly ready to move into.

It'll be interesting to see how many cars can be fitted in there.

Not sure if it's posted elsewhere but this popped up in Today's Telegraph

This cardinal red poverty-spec Sierra was acquired this year by a collector who goes by the name of Retrosh!te.
Its previous owner, together with a number of friends, saved it from being scrapped.

I'd measure the space accurately and draw a little plan and try a pile of cardboard rectangles in different layouts to find out how many you can fit in.  Seriously.

We all want elegant, slanty layouts showing off the stock, but it never really works and what you want is always going to be buried 3 deep.  Just clean up the space, spray it all white and cram them in and enjoy.

Yeah, the writer approached me a month back and I sent him some pics and told him a little bit about the car.

It would have been handy if that article had been released before the draw not that it would have really mattered as it was one of the most unpopular cars we've had on.

It seemed to go to someone who really wanted it so overall a success getting the car into the "right" hands but I'm sure most people who entered for it would have cherished it.

I spotted that the new owner commented on the Retroshite FB page - I've asked if he will sign up on here so he can continue the saga of one of this site's best loved cars.
