Temp gauge now functions.  Sender was changed and now everything is AOK.  Rear wheel bearing also done.

Not so good news -

 

The lad that won the 305 roffle has had a change of heart.  To be precise, he had a change of heart at 23:01 on the evening before collection.

Hes out of room and was considering breaking or scrapping my estate.  Rather than do this, he offered it back to me at scrap value.

 

Which I paid him.

 

This car tried to kill me, and now its trying to break me.

 

 

It has survived Ebay, it has survived a roffle, it has survived Facebook mongs. 

 

It may be the worlds first unsellable car.  Which is mental, as theres nothing wrong with it!

 

 

 

If anyone would like it, with the intention of using it (not scrapping or breaking it), do get in touch.

So the lad was the new owner of the car, but it was with Mister Shitpeas. Mister Shitpeas has effectively bought himself a nice shiny 305, for scrap value, to do with what he wants. Having just sold a nice shiny 305 for £588.

Fair play to you, you're a nicer person than me.  I'd have told him to GTF and not dick you about next time, and maybe given him his ticket price back if he was effin lucky.  It was pretty clear from the outset that you didn't want the car broken (and I'm with you on that).
