Mrs6C Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 Three empty freight cars fell into in the Potomac - oops!!!

wuvvum Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 When I was in Lansing in 2016 there was some sort of comicon-type event going on in the city and all the central hotels were booked up so I ended up staying in a motel on the outskirts, right by the railway line. The PAAAAARP PAAAAAARP PARP PAAAAAAAAAAARP of the incoming CSX freight train at 6.30am each morning made an interesting alternative to an alarm clock. Six-cylinder 1
Zelandeth Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 Didn't realise there was a railway line and crossing behind the restaurant we were in up north (think we were a few hours north of Macinac) and when I walked out the door I was greeted by the train that was just approaching the crossing blasting the horn. I must have got a good few feet of air given how far it made me jump. Hooooooolly hell they are loud up close... Six-cylinder 1

I thought about taking it to a small show tomorrow at Weedon, but the battery was flat so it is now on charge. Thinking about timings I will have to take the new swap or it will finish as I get there, although it is a bit young at 18 years old really.

beko1987 Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 I've always quite liked them. Partly because their simple underneath to maintain, and they are nice inside! My only experience of one is when @messerschmitt owner popped into my mums for a fluid/stop up the road after buying his! Eva liked it loserone 1
loserone Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 I really liked it, still having pangs of regret but pretty sure I'll have another one day.
