Panda mk3s are dying faster than the panda population, mainly due to the rear axle being made from Yugoslavian tin.

"fiat panda spares or repairs NO TIME WASTERS"

I hope the house you're moving to is in another country.

That looks like Bramble, the 2-door Cortina 2000 GXL automatic:

If so, its even more fucked than Pete thought. Pity.

Having said that, Swampy, his 2000 GXL saloon, was in a similar state, but he restored it to better than new condition :)

It does look like Pete's tbh, can't be many 2 dr Mk3's being dipped i'd have thought. I'm sure he can work wonders with it as usual.

Most of the required welding has been completed and it is now solid.

Having already spent a considerable amount of money to get this far and after sand-blasting, has revealed further work that I can no longer afford.

400 on this pile of plates welded to each other and probably over rust...

^^^, I bet Tripple Rich would take a sudden intake of breath at restoring that.

Why is it when I see a pile of shite like that being bid up to crazy money, the first thing I think is "some poor bastards about to get their restored example nicked".

I've had a great idea lads! Gonna start chopping bini roofs off and flog them on bookface. Why? No one else is doing it so there must be massive* demand..

“It has been cut off proper” Good of them to add that to the text, I can now buy without worry.

Hilariously, for a second I thought it was my old 156. It ended up looking very similar a coupla years after it left my caring* custodianship. I have screengrabs of its final ignominious FB ad somewhere.

I'd not realised just how much worthless shite is available on bookface.

A beautiful slag. Wiring harness needs re-smoking, as the genuine lucas smoke has leaked out.

I love the logic. We need a forklift! Well there's a pile of shite over there and a bedford. Yeah, I can build one.

The most upsetting thing about this joke on wheels is that candidate No 2 is parked beside it...

That's a fairly generous use of the word, "welded".

Won't be parking at this guy's yard.

...The roof and some of the panels have become damaged as you can see in the photos, this is because unfortunately one of our workers by mistake grabbed the vehicle with the grab machine...

^^^ heh, that very nearly happened to a Mk2 Fiesta of mine, while I was waiting to give a friend a lift home after dropping her MOT failure Nova off at a metal recycler - only avoided because a lad in the yard wanted the (new) JVC stereo out of it before grabbing it. He put his head round the office door to check with the boss that no-one else had called dibs, and I was Very Put Out at his presumption, and might have become a bit shrill.
