What Shite Do You Currently Have A Hankering For?

These continue to be top of the WANT LIST:

Thinking sensibly, I really want one of these but it has to be the shite 3 door 1.8 petrol version with the full length sunroof as pictured:

Quite possibly all the car I'd ever need and a van and convertible rolled into one!

A brown Triumph Dolomite or Toledo is an itch that I want to scratch but a cull of the current fleet would need to happen first.  Likewise a Scimitar would be very nice.

The list changes on a regular basis but this is always here

Been after an mot'ed pre 1995 rover 214/414 or metro with a k series 1.4 twin cam under the bonnet and preferably no cat for a while to tool about in and add a turbo to before the engine goes into my 1100. The only ones left seem to be either perfect and therefore too expensive or have no mot or any reasonable chance of getting through one. I am moving in a month or so and cant store a non-runner until i do but will then have much more car storage space and could buy a basket case to do up. Its a waiting game and i aint a patient person.

Forgot one from my list. I've wanted a Mazda 626 GC for a while, partly for nostalgic reasons as my uncle had one in the 80s and I remember it being a decent ride. One with these trims would do nicely.

catsinthewelder, you're not the only one! I'd love a Dolomite 1500HL or 1850HL in Russet Brown.

Or an 1850 in any decent* colour (Sandglow et al).

My dad owned a B reg 626 in the 1990's Rob, a blue one. He traded in his E reg Rover 820i for it after the head gasket went. Was actually a very good car. Somewhere there's a picture of myself and my cousin posing by her parents MK4 Escort Eclipse, with the 626 in the background. I would have been 5 and she was 1 I think, which puts it about 1996. I'll have to get some better pictures of that 626 that lives near my garage, that's driven by an old guy and has those nice trims.

After spotting this in one of the other threads, my life needs a pre facelift mk2 Cavvy. I reckon they look better and better as the years go by!

Corrado G60. Not VR6 as nose-heavy, would take a 2.0 at a push.

Scorpio. Bug eye perhaps but definitely a late 80s two-tone 2.9i

Clio Sport would do nicely. Or a Clio Williams, but they're getting dear now, sadly.

I did have a brief bout of Corvette lust, but that'll have to wait to be anything other than unrequited.

Ditto T5 and Subaru turbo madness.

That Wolesley looks an amazing bargain, could even turn out to be almost free if the number plate is transferable.

I have one of those, and may be willing to part with it... It's no engine donor, though. Far too good for that.

Ye Gods! That's a bit spesh! Winning bid - £1290.

I bet the top price would have been 50% higher if they'd bothered to wash it.

Quite fancy a late 80s Merc, W210 or W124, because they're "The last of the proper Mercs"
Knowing my luck I'll buy one and it'll be a rusty shitheap just like my W210 (OMGTEHRUSTIESTMERCEVAR) wasn't.

Something like this ticks a lot of boxes, especially the interior.
