Didn't realise the Jag XJC was also sold as the Daimler Sovereign coupé

Sorry to quote the pic again, but for me the XJ Coupe is one of the most stunningly beautiful cars ever made.  I love them.

For when your mid-30s Ford simply isn't pointy enough.

The early Honda Crossroad might also look familiar...

Is this related to the frontera?2bd1e5df17ef1f0ca15aed1a562a40b1.jpg

Yes but not that Frontera.

The Jazz / MU / mk1 Frontera are basically the same thing.

In Japan it's the Fiat Bravissimo.

I wonder how many they sold? Less than 100?

I'm not sure, but the Japanese do love a Fiat.

E-Z-GO presumably refers to the residual value.

£999,999! What's it made from? Pure gold? (or pure beige....).

Similar to the  Citroen AX Evasion prototype  by Heuliez.  Did not get anywhere - could have created a van too. Pity. Front door frame looks a bit uncomfortable  - suppose they were  trying to limit the new pressings needed.

Tielhol is a company I didn't know existed, though the cars that made me aware of them are the Citadine and the Tangara.

The Citadine is available in a variety of body styles, including van and pick up (they all look charmingly daft).  The Handicar variant is probably the most interesting since it looks to have some clever engineering going on to problem solve wheelchair access.

Cheating a bit here as it's an Autocar rendering based on a prototype but just look at it.

Growing up in 90s NE London / Essex leaves a mark and this may very well be my perfect car.  How hard would it be to import a facelift 3 door and convert to RHD?  I have a nice 302 V8 to go in it.

Easier than getting some custom built 'handed' Saph Cos wheels and then fitting them wrong.

I do like it though

Ha! Yes good spot.  Think i would fit Escort Cosworth 5 spokes which was the 'upgrade' at the time.

A Landrover design made with the attention to detail of Honda. Sounds fantastic.  Did any ever get to Europe?

Yes Honda where probably very careful with the fitting of their badges to it. Assuming they even bothered with that bit.

Yep, sorry Les - nailed together loosely on Lode Lane with all the others, then shipped east!

The Proton Tiara is a new one on me, a stylistically tweaked AX only available in Malaysia between 1996 and 2000.
