What have you bought from the ebay tat thread?

I found and bought this of the Ebay thread last year, I think it was Cort16 who posted it. I know a few of you guys have bought cars from posts i've made on the tat thread, for that i can only apologise.

It popped in my head yesterday that I think it was Trigger that posted the link to Meg the Visa on the ebay tat thread, so yes I have bought something from it and I have been incredibly pleased with it.

 

IIRC I was bidding against someone else on here and ended up paying a little more but it was still a steal.

I've definitely been a victim of that thread, one reason I stopped looking! Also bought a couple off ppl on here, directly or indirectly. Gold Acclaim and Green 406 spring to mind. Not had a bad experience that I am aware of, or maybe I've blanked it out of my memory!

Ha! Google!! It actually came up before the real one ffs. Didn’t bother checking it was the correct one. It seemed easier to search for it rather than browse myself. Lesson learned. Don’t use the google.

One drunken evening whilst MrsDS was away I put a bid on an XM estate and to my horror I found next day that it was now mine.

 

I kept it for a couple of years then swapped it on AS for a Volvo Estate. It is now in the hands of its third AS owner so be patient, your turn will come.

I kept it for a couple of years then swapped it on AS for a Volvo Estate. It is now in the hands of its third AS owner so be patient, your turn will come.

This won't be full sale for a long time! However the other Xm I have will be up for grabs soon

I bought my Safrane that was advertised on FB marketplace after someone posted a link here. Only V6 in the UK I've seen since, will be MOT'd soon I hope.

I blame Junkman, he posted a T series Bentley with knackered brakes, I followed the link and it had already sold, but in the, people who looked at this also looked at these, bit was the knackered MkVI which I stuck in the ebay tat thread, and ended up buying.

And the Nissan Leaf display model, think that might have been Wuvvum again
