I think the reason for spares or repairs is because he is a dealer and knows the chances of a Laguna lasting more than a fortnight are slim so he is covering his arse.

I enquired about that. He said he was accepting offers over £200, which doesn't make sense - was he accepting £201 or £500? It's gone now though.
