An SM being recovered . Probably not a rare sight at the time.

Even the sight of a broken down luxury car was unusual....Granada was a poor city at that time...there were no flash cars..

My first professional driving instructor was very keen that I should keep a keen eye on the pavements, in case anyone should be near to stepping off the kerb. Seaside town, early summer? Irrespective, I passed 1st time.

After you have finished gorping at the lovely lady. Look at her hub caps. They are something different. Italian designed I expect.

Came across something a little rare a Norwegian registered Tatra that did not belong to the Germans. Photo was taken towards the end of the war and it has a wood gas generator fitted.

The local bus here I live in the 1930s. It went on a route from Tovdal to Arendal and back again. One way is about 70 km so a round trip was about 140 km which probably takes its time on the bad roads and especially in winter with a snow plow.

Interestingly the photo looks pre-WW2...but tucked in amongst all the cars is a Rover P4...which put the photo at 1949 or later.

Where is that?

If I'm looking at the same car you are, that's a Singer SM1500 or Hunter, not a P4. Doesn't alter the time frame, I grant you.

Here is the Singer - yes you are right. That puts the photo at 1948 or later.

Isn’t there two Ford Pops ( light colour between the lorries on the right and a van with ladders on the left), which would make it 1953 or later.
