"The vehicle has a few parts that are on their way out unfortunately such as the head gasket and the water pump, along with a minor scratch that can be seen on the passenger side door of the vehicle"

I mean, can't expect it to be perfect for that price....

I am giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming he has his decimal places mixed up . Either that or he is clinically insane

Cheap house if you’re in the London area. Floor space 500sqft. I’ve seen a lot of flats smaller than that.

One bid of £850 already, another "timewaster"?

From the ad "The shell cannot be saved, there is no V5, however the car will come with a receipt of purchase. The V5 has never been sent off as scrapped so you will be able to get a replacement, we didn't do it as it would add an additional owner, just in case anyone wanted to use a load of the parts during the restoration or re-shell of another and keep the low owners on the new V5 of their car."

Ding dong!

People who have been given all the motor factors unsold stock from the 80's, and then desperately offering all that stuff they wouldn't be able to sell in 100 years for cars that are no longer on the road as "job lots".

I clicked on this because I thought I recognised the car park. Very sad, I know!

I feel like they are about to get a lesson on how rarely you recoup maintenance expenditure on cars.

Purchased for £1500 (they say) with some work done for about a similar amount again still does not equal a £3000 car necessarily.

Wait for it ...

£7,500.00 - reduced from £8990

Oh hang on, it's an ...

"enthusiast / collectors car."

Wheels, colour, interior, engine - I doubt you could find a least desirable version of a Calibra. It could only be less wanted if the reg plate ended in PDO.

“Now reduced so I don't have to store it over Winter to the fixed price of £7500 (was £8990), if it doesn't sell now it will go back up in the Spring. Only 40k miles. Massive history (13 services), appreciating modern classic, find another UK example this good for sale. 90+ point predelivery inspection.”

The actual ebay description is just hilarious and complete nonsense.

only 23 manuals remain on the road, a further 60 more are sorn’d, we assume they are put away as investments,
