Towtasic.

Is the trailer thin enough to filter with? that'll really scare car drivers.

True but I'd want it no wider than the bike to attempt filtering with it.

I use a quad bike trailer swivel on my bike trailer, so it stays upright when I lean!

Mind you, that trailer doesn’t look too heavy!

the trailer has a swivel hitch,so bike can be leant on the floor if i wanted and the trailer will still stay up :-) tiny bit of flex on the towbar but i think thats inevitable.

I’m tempted by a late 70’s cb400n as a ULEZ beating commuter. It needs to be ‘79 to be expert by the time the ULEZ kicks in next year. Any thoughts?

This one is too late and too spendy but admittedly a honey: https://m.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1030531

Uh oh . I’ve been bullied it’s buying another bike by the new missus ! Another ke175d !

It’s a project but all the important and expensive bits are there . Best bit is that it’s a local bike and still has its original dealer plate albeit cracked.

It’s much more original that the one have had for 23 years ( used a lot on the trails) so will have a go at a better resto on this one.

I have another whole spares bike as well as loads of accumulated spares .

Quite excited about it but I don’t let her know that of course

Tempted to sell the ZZR1100 and get something 600 and naked.

Obviously worst time of the year to sell, it's cosmetically challenged and is a bit lumpy at idle. Carbs def overdue a proper fettling.

It goes like a stabbed rat and has a few decent bits on it mind.

It's probably close to bottom of the market for a running MOT'd example in my eyes but it's hard to gauge a price.

£1500 I imagine would probably buy a nicer one, if I got north of a grand I'd probably be over the moon. Less than a grand I'd probably just keep it.

I got involved tangentially as its to do with mental health issues and particularly suicide but I realise some are opposed to this sort of charitable endeavour.

Round here they’ll be a load of old bikes breaking down randomly, here's one which is broken down in anticipation.

I would do if circumstances didn't intrude.

Here's a book by someone who had a Triumph Tiger cub and electro-convulsive therapy. Yours for  7 finest queens pounds (the book not the Triumph).

My employer has moved premises(or rather i moved them) as a result my commute has increased, only by 3 miles each way,to around 15 miles each way,but the roads are now mainly fast a roads rather than country lanes, and battling home after a long day on the MZ is proving very draining, and a bit hard work for the bike...so I've bought a K75 :-)

I've purchased many a high mileage bike, and never had any major issues. I've had a few that I took to well over 100,000 - Fireblade bought at 75,000, sold at 120,000 plus (it had a erratic speedo) and a GSX-R750 I took from 25,000 to 180,000 before it was written off by a Transit.

I really like auto bikes, and the Honda is good - not as much fun as the Aprilia Mana, the CVT box on that was awesome (twist 'n go, but with a thumb AND a foot change) but what a fuck ugly bike! Really surprised that auto's haven't caught on with bikes - why not?

Because 90% of bikes are bought as toys and a modern bike with a quick shifter and auto blipper is a joy to use, auto bikes are ok (I've ridden a FJR, VFR12 and Africa Twin) but a manual bike is more engaging to ride.

You’ve all got me looking at doing my full bike test and getting an NC700 now to solve my commute problem.

I love the LML but doing 20 miles a day on it over a combination of small streets with speed bumps and 50mph three lane carriageway is proving a little tiring.

One solution I thought might be an RV125 so I tried one out yesterday, was kind of fun how soft and squidgy it feels, but I can see myself becoming terribly bored by how slow it is.

Getting back on the LML straight afterwards felt way more fun, and reminded me why I love 2 strokes so much.

Part of me is really tempted to try a ULEZ bearing 70’s KE250 or similar as the ultimate solution. An auto NC700 appeals but I’m concerned it would be unweildy on the small streets and boring in the long term..

I've got a manual NC. I find it far from boring, the engine is a gem. I reckon the auto would be a real good bet. I only have a manual because one with all the accessories came up close with low miles. It's easily handled on side roads, in traffic and in the wet.

I could be wrong but I think you can get a 250 version of the TW
