Lazy spotters thread

Bit if a photo dump from a cycling trip to France a few weeks ago. Le chod spotting was fairly disappointing on the whole, there are a lot of R4 and 2CVs, which are probably like MGBs over here but there wasn't much else out on the roads day to day inbetween Nantes and Tours. 

Still got a fair few spots but it it was few and far between. 

The body on this was in good shape for the age.

Is it just me that thinks pulling a trailer with a car on without anything on the back of that flatbed seems sketchy?  

Granted I've only driven one beaver tail, but that was sketchy enough even in a straight line on a perfectly dry road without a car on the back.  I'd shudder to think what it would have been like with a tonne and a half of trailer pushing the tail end around.

When was the last time you saw one of these on the road. Spotted at a garden centre in the Forest today. 

I still find it hard to believe they sold any of these. 

I should just point out it's an Aston Martin Cygnet, not a Toyota IQ, the badges haven't come out as clearly as I hoped. 

Taking up two spaces too, they must have thought they were in their other Aston.

Unexpected Panther spottage yesterday:

A Lima, I think - or possibly a Kallista?

DVLA reckons it's a 2.3 litre, so likely to be a Vauxhall Magnum-based Lima, but I don't know a lot about these.

Also, another oddity in the form of a Japanese-spec Rover 220 Coupe Turbo:

Looks ace in Nightfire Red.

I've seen this one around the town for years, and never been able to get a clear pic of it - until now.

One of a batch of only 330 exported to Japan in 1995, it seems this one then returned to the UK in 2005.

Looks in decent nick, too. Long may it roll.

I started seeing 323 a month or so ago, so presumably purchased by someone local, Swift hasn’t turned a wheel for ages but is registered, and Joy Machine is a new addition to the neighborhood, I started seeing it around a week or so ago.
