You're going to make me go and have a peek underneath with suggestions like that!

I parked the van like that in a (very quiet) corner of our local Tesco car park once.  Came back to get absolutely ranted at by someone in an Audi A1 about how I was being utterly selfish and inconsiderate and how I was everything that was wrong with society.

The fact that the van is pretty much the exact width a single space (not allowing for things like opening doors!) and about 1 and a half spaces long seemed completely lost on her.

That Dodge took up 4 spaces.. heavy duty twin wheeler Cummins. 😍 bonnet was up to my chin.. and I'm 6"4..

E9s weren't sold here with steel wheels like that, as far as I know, but if it is a coupé under that then I suggest it's the E9's predecessor, the 2000CS.

If it's a saloon, it might be an E3, or possibly even a Neue Klasse.

Roofline looks more CS like so a 2000CS is maybe not a bad shout 👍👍

On my way back from up north I spotted this Avantime in the slow/stationery outside lane because M25, in front was a White C reg Citroen CX estate and behind was a silver Talbot Matra which sounded glorious IMG_20210425_163320_hdr.thumb.jpg.2e66e0c39c2244a86d94e1ff5f2dce87.jpg

These three French automobiles have been used by JC, Hammond and May apparently

Parked next to this yesterday morning. Pretty much the same age and size as my car but a very different approach in all other aspects.

And came across these on a dog walk. The Sprint is partially hidden because there were people at the front door so I was being surreptitious.

If I didn't have the dog with me I might have said hello being a fellow Triumph owner but he is a bit of a handful. But two doors up I also found this.

Even the mk1 Focus is getting scarce even if silver was the most common colour.

I've been on my knees and I think you're right. It's definitely a two door.

They look better without the sealed-beam nonsense, as intended. I wouldn't only BUM one of these - I'd probably let it bum me

That's no Imp, it's an Austin A40 like this one;

Having had a grope this morning, I can confirm you are right. But with the round headlights which as @barrett points out doesn't look half as good as the one above. I'd forgotten they looked like that.

I don't think so. But I was in full uniform complete with a bag over my shoulder. So if anybody did see me they'll know where to complain. Then I'll get a visit from my line managerfor an explanation, "well, there's this forum..." How do you explain this place in a few short sentences?

Spots from this weekend;

First a Fairlady Z (with bonus Citroen DS Safari)...

And then today, my favourite spot from this weekend was this tasty looking Corolla KE20:

A chap came to fit some flooring at work a few weeks ago, turned up in tidy-looking H100 Toyota Hiace.  I'm not sure why it is, but the overhang on one of these looks just right to me...

I found this whilst taking some water samples in Gladstone Park in North London (horrible work appliance Transit courier misery spec parked behind)

An cack-covered SD1 found in Croydon about a year ago.  Shitty photos one this one, locals were up and about/had just come back from the police station, so had to be taken on the move in the van.  Check out the headlining!20200427_174019213_iOS.thumb.jpg.00dceec01e060b74c13c1b69f624a8e9.jpg20200427_174017078_iOS.thumb.jpg.a8f0b618f0b3381ff7f1ed3e35904a26.jpg

Walking in Hextable, nice enough place, I expected driveways to be rammed with PCP clonebox appliances, in the main part they were, but I found one road where the locals were doing it right:20191123_152713073_iOS.thumb.jpg.7c70cd45a4745ab5893fc5844bdd225d.jpg

Fast forward to Friday, fruity-looking Triumph Acclaim with 3 x Alloys and a rust scab collection going on.  Sadly this was found in Euro Car Parts just next to work, poor chap must have gone in there thinking that it was a motor factors.  I imagine he went in looking for a new distributor cap and came out with some floor mats and an air freshener

not quite sure where these sit on the shite scale yet (although im sure the Rotary engine is helping that cause)

image.thumb.png.f9dee8b28116d3b59b717213280d7e09.png

but thought it was neat to see (because of aforementioned rotary) and especially so in Central London (papped while getting my 2nd Jab)

amusingly too it is ULEZ Compliant LOL
