I worked for a Ford main dealer van rental department when these were released, my boss was convinced I should have some on fleet, I was convinced I shouldn't, as they were shit! A lot of my customers asked for drop side tippers, which could carry a lot more and be loaded and emptied from three sides as well as the rear. Needless to say I ended up with one...

Seen this beautiful* Corolla hatch in autoshite colors while visiting my cousin. I cannot believe this was an official color you could buy these in. Those wheel trims only add to the misery.

Had the time of my life up the Aldi just now, it’s my fave spotting ground.

 

 

First there’s this, which I’ve posted before, but hadn’t seen it’s seamless repair. I love Millennium edition Fords.

 

 

Don’t remember the last time I saw one of these. When I was a kid all the taxis in town where non-cargo ones of these in yellow or blue.

 

 

Too big for the camera. I love these and tried to take my parents into one as a teen (I was very cool) They bought a Zafira.

 

 

There’s a lot going on here, but that was a lovely Golf.

 

 

Haven’t seen a Saxo in ages, let alone a Mk1. Giffer owned, as you might expect.

 

 

Lots of little cars, but mostly here for the reasonably early Panda base.

 

 

Shite Alley. Think the yellow van was a minor but it pootled off before I could inspect it close up.

 

 

I love Up!s. This one looks the absolute dogs.

 

 

Finally back in the village I caught this little beauty, best colour for these and with a boot luggage rack too. The winners choice.

Took the bus out for a little run today and took these two terrible pictures. Both are already heavily cropped, so zooming in doesn't help.

 

This Volvo 245 was at the lights.

I was stationary at this point I hasten to add. I don't drive the bus and take pictures.

 

But the lights changed before I could switch the phone off so I dropped it back in my pocket. I decided to stop at the next bus stop to switch it off properly as switched on phones in pockets can do strange things.

 

When I did, this went past.

Unfortunately I was too busy faffing to get a proper picture.

Three spots from the last few weeks, starting with today's find of a P38 with a numberplate that could easily pay for at least one and a half FTPs if necessary.

 

Just a red Corsa. In very good condition, too. But just a Corsa.

Best until last; this Proton is absolutely perfect. I've seen it a number of times around the town where I work. If I ever see it with a 'For Sale' sign in the window I'm going to have a genuinely difficult time walking past...
