Yoss Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Had a weekend in town. These are barely worth a second glance, or a first, when you're in London, I saw four over the weekend, but you never see them anywhere else. Nice looking Bristol. Again you don't think anything of it because London. I wonder if they still have that showroom in Kensington? Someone here will know. The view from our hotel room. The Jag would very much fit in with our community but that thing lurking with its nose sticking out from under the building certainly wouldn't. And then this oddity. French registered crane earning a living in Piccadilly. Is it a Renault? So is it really cheaper or more convenient to hire a crane from France? I guess it's not that far really but there must be crew lodgings and board etc... And will it still be possible after brexit? Datsuncog, mercrocker, Tamworthbay and 1 other 4
Tadhg Tiogar Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 I wonder which band this driver's a fan of.... Datsuncog and michael t 2

Cheggers Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 did you notice a price?£7200 Tamworthbay 1
Tamworthbay Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 £7200 hmm, seems strong but where would you find another?
Cheggers Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 hmm, seems strong but where would you find another? It's one of those cars I have no idea what it's worth. Like you say, not exactly commonplace though.
beko1987 Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Cherwell Valley services about an hour ago. Looked fit Owain71, Lacquer Peel, michael t and 1 other 4

Neither would it be safe on the open road. Nice looking Bristol. Again you don't think anything of it because London. IMG_20180929_152027.jpgI wonder if they still have that showroom in Kensington? barrett Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 A Zaz, and a 1958 Chrysler product of some sort, of the 'Christine' Plymouth Fury style. That Beatlemania Ford Focus further up the page, presumably owned by Cavcraft off here, is fucking superb

Showroom still exists. They're not safe on any roads but the range thing makes sense. If you could only buy them in London you wouldn't be able to drive one far enough to get out of London. I'm guessing sales have dried up since proper electric cars have taken off.
clayts450 Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 This rocked up next to me on the traffic lights but as I was fumbling for the cameraphone the filter arrow turned green and it was off. Giffer-tastic small balding owner (no apologies for the period furry dice accessory - these were bought for my first ever car in the late 1980s and therefore are an honourable addition to the Streety, especially after somehow finding them after all these years without even looking for them) oldcars 1

Tadhg Tiogar Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 They're not safe on any roads .... That was demonstrated many years ago: michael t 1
Datsuncog Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Very clean Audi 80 seen in Derry last week. Neatly folded tartan rug on the rear parcel shelf would indicate giffer ownership. Also a Canadian-plated Focus ST close by. Left-hooker and all. Bound to be a story there. Fiesta with Far-East pretensions, seen in Ballymena yesterday. Not seen one of these 121s for quite a while. Some sad-looking vehicles facing an uncertain fate, near a petrol station being redeveloped. And a fairly beat-to-shit Proton Gen-2 noticed locally. Lacquer Peel, mercrocker, brandersnatch and 1 other 4
Amishtat Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Some Essex spotsNice, but shit wheels Haven't seen one of these for ages Look at these wob-laden pieces of shit. I was really hoping they'd snap when the straps got tightened up. danthecapriman, Disco Fever, michael t and 3 others 6
danthecapriman Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Fleet Services northbound.IMG_20180929_091416.jpgThe driver was sat in it so this is my attempt at covert surveillance. I was parked a few spaces away from there... last year. When I got the Mercury and it was cleared for driving home, first real drive in this country, I broke down in that space just above the Mustang’s boot (trunk) I remember it well!
