This might not be the most exciting find in the world but I saw this in full on. A Year in Provence country this morning. It had stickers in the window from Majorca and Corsica so clearly a well travelled old thing. I liked it anyway!

Somebody clearly gave up caring for it a while ago.

^ Yes, sad. Wouldn't mind the gaff next door though...prime autoshite real estate.

Yes, I thought the same, next door (the other side) was a mk1 focus with flat tyres and over the road was a X reg Passat in long grass so looks to be a shitters natural habitat!

Just you wait until I drive by photograph another Benz piece of shite. I can assure you, it's just as good, plus it's an estate from 2003 and it's half sunken into the ground! It's been SORN for a number of years, let me put it that way.

Our host works as a sales trainer for Mercedes,so we also went into the city centre MB showroom, which has been a showroom for them since 1910,longer than any other facility in the world. Here you see your correspondent gazing bemusedly at the three foot wide LCD dash of the ridiculously flashy new G-Wagen.It's €135000.

Edit:-also saw two Triumph TR6s,one with the bonnet up.Of course.

And this, of a brand new corrado and a mk2f breadvan.there was also a pic of me sitting in the polo, aged about 4, which may Possibly be why i had a random urge to own a mk2f breadvan, coupe and a mk2 breadvan a few years back, although i don't remember this happening

Interesting headrest shape. Did R12s ever come with headrests as an option?

Not really a car spot - but Tesla charging at services on the M6 S. of Preston. First time I'd seen it. Did London -Preston London on a mix of  M1-M6-M62-A1 only one old car spot all day which was an XJS being driven VERY fast on the M1 near Coventy a fantastic sight. Be nice to think it had a JLR connection maybe. It was dark green and was really shifting.

Those funky alloys would have come from the Boutique range of dealer fitted accessories though.
