Wanted: Ford CD player just like this one. With code and working both as a radio and as a CD player.

I know there are loads on ebay, the one I just bought there doesn't work   ..........

 

I have a smilar one of these you can have, but with the rotary volume control.

 

The catch? I suspect someone has "introduced" the front of it to a drink in the past so some of the buttons don't work too well, specifically the volume/on/off button, plus some of the preset buttons from memory (I tended to use the steering column controls to get round this but eventually replaced it). Plays radio and CDs fine (better than the one I replaced it with FFS), lights up as normal, display fine and has code.

 

Perhaps a session with some switch/contact cleaner would see it right, I don't have the patience.

Anyone got any old 60s-80s radios with black knobs on. Working or not, I just need the knobs. Ford early 80s would be perfect but I am not fussy. Thinking about it, I could spray the knobs black so not even that fussy on colour of knobs.

As I am in Shetland then I could post everything except the Toolbox, although I will be in Aberdeen next Wednesday as I have to take Mrs Seals car to the Main Dealer for a recall so could meet up if someone wanted it

I am open to reasonable offers on everything

Just discovered the Blaupunkt Color Edition range - I guess, from late '90s - and that they did a couple of yellow-fronted radio cassette/CD models.

 

I've bought a NOS front panel for a Lausanne RD 148 CD/Radio (component, they use a keycard rather than detachable front) and also am about to buy the detachable panel from a Louisiana RCM 148 tape deck.

 

So I'm now looking for a working with keycard RD 148, and a working RCM 148 (ideally the Louisiana, since there's an electrical connection, but I am figuring any RCM-148 or similar era tape deck could have the yellow front panel plastic swapped onto it). The Lausanne front has slightly angled/sloped buttons and fits the "two round D-pads on left, six presets on right" style so anything of that era would probably work.

Heres a strange thing to offer here, but it is a friends and is for sale again due to a non paying ebayer. Its a nice trailer for carrying livestock and is fitted with a 1920's Overland car axle and brakes which are the external contracting type. Good nick, around £250

I don't suppose any of the SVM are breaking a Volvo 940 estate?  I realise it's a terrible thing to comtemplate but I could nonetheless do with a pair of rear light lenses, mine are in horrible condition and a recent trip to the jetwash has removed the last remains of a previous owner's sticky tape repairs.
