Got a Bluebird mini delux driveaway awning that I had for our T3 bus. Only used once, now back in it's carry bag. All poles, lines and pegs included. There's no groundsheet with it, as it was just used for storing stuff rather than sleeping in, so I didn't buy one. It's been used once, then dried and repacked. I'd like £100 for it. I don't have a photo, but I'll try and find one. I'm sure as hell not putting it up in this weather, mostly because I don't want it to get wet.

 

I've also got a set of viciously Chavvy 17" alloys that I took off the 306 that I want rid of. 7x17, ET38, multifit 4x100 & 4x108. three borderline tyres and one good one. £75, shiters discount/tea & biscuits available.

Anyone for a mk4 Astra?

 

2003 (53 reg) 1.6 16v SXi, 5dr. Ultra blue met, leccy front bins, air con, sports seats, snazzy 16" alloys and slightly firmer sports suspension make up the desirable* SXi spec.

 

108,000 miles. Not much in the way of history, stamps up to 25k and invoice for cambelt change at 76k. But starts, runs and drives well. The ecotec lump pulls nicely and chassis and steering feel nice and tight. Engine flush, oil & filter, front discs & pads, drop links and front to rear brake pipes all done within 1000 miles ago.

 

Bodywork tidy for the mileage. Few small issues, remote locking not working, but works fine off the key. (and only one key). Engine is also a bit tappy, have read on some Vauxhall forums that ecotecs do tap a bit with mileage, not sure.

 

All in all though, has been a 100% reliable ol' bus, in daily use since I got it in Feb last year, but I've got an itch for an old Merc again. The Astra comes with 11 months test and 5 months tax. Would like to see £795 or thereabouts for it, but shiters discount will apply. Pics/more info if anyone interested as on the phone at the mo.

What's wrong with it that it's getting weighed? Is it spectacularly bad, or would it see the road again with a bit of fettling?

its complicated you see.... brother in law (who, lets be honest is a bit of a tit) rang me up yesterday to recover his mg because the clutch had gone. i pick him up from his house and he says he's just going to scrap it and says they'll probably give him "x" amount. now im partial to a bit of Cat off, wheels off, battery, petrol weigh inage. i'll give you "x" amount says i, so we winch it on the truck, drop him at home deal done. when i got home i thought lets see if it actually is the clutch so i put it in gear and tried starting it. it moved...... i look down and see a loose clutch pedal, mystery solved snapped cable. by this point you must understand, he's removed the tax disc done the log book and started hunting for a new car. btw he didnt actually like the mg. so anyway, if i put it back on the road or sell it complete it'll cause a whole heap of crap, all over a heap of crap.

First off is either the engine by itself or the whole project bike, its a chinese 125cc thing, either a Better BT125 or X-Stream Crusader Classic. I think its a 2005/2006, I have the plate somewhere in the garage.

 

It has been chopped about as it was going to be a budget bobber/chopper type bike.

 

The engine is a good runner, and I rode the bike when I first got it and took up to 70 very easily. Comes with wiring loom and carb etc

 

Engine would be perfect for a go kart/buggy etc as its light and compact.

 

 

 

 

 

Looking £60 for engine, and £80 the whole bike, included box of parts for it...i could possibly deliver for fuel to kent/essex/sussex/london.

Engine hoist wanted: must be the folding type. Cash waiting if it's working ok, it doesn't have to look brand new or be anything g fancy as long as it works. Needs to be the crane type, not the hoist over garage beam affair.

For some unknown and sadly pervasive reason, I am becoming bored with my tax-exempt Toledo, not sure why, just am. I rescued it with an impulsive, last minute bid on the Bay of Evil. So am fairly inclined to sell before the 18th April as the insurance needs renewing then (the main caveat re: sale/swap).

 

It is painted satin black with go faster/racing god white stripe on it (no, not done by me). I have removed the majority of the interior trim cos it was shite and have some Dolomite stuff to go in. The carpet was fucked, so that is out. I was going to buy a brand new one. All the seats are there and in decent order, The brake master cylinder needs re-sealing (I have the bits), I have a set of Spitfire steelies with good tyres to go on, It's pretty solid apart from a small section of the front lower valance. It starts and runs fine. I had to clean up the valves and replace the head gasket (not because it was leaking). It's tax exempt and taxed until Jan '14. MOT'd till July. It needs a indicator stalk as the horns no longer work, I have one to fit. Some shallow dents in the roof, maybe down to someone having a shag on the roof, who knows, it wasn't me as the dents would be much deeper and I am not that tall. Oh, the bonnet is rusty but I have another one lined up.

 

Sell or swap something different perhaps. Must have T & T. The car and I are in North London. PM me if you have suitable chod and/ or cash (around the £600 mark I suppose). Not keen on French cars (apart from an XM which is strangely lovely). Quirky is good, rusty fuck wagon probably isn't. I love Volvo's, so that may be a bit of a hint.
