Or print on normal paper and cover the plate image with a bit of sellotape before cutting it out. The worst might be is that yellows a bit over time, either live with it (patina) or run off a new one.

I have a shit inkjet printer, I don’t think it’ll run at the resolution I’d need. Fine fit printing out tickets or whatnot but it’s like having cataracts on anything else.

And on a somewhat lighter budget, here's my ebay purchase for this week...

100_0978.JPG.d5ca974bedcf5a30ba57fd4fcce4c879.JPG

A whole 99p plus postage.  These two are destined to become a tea van and a camper, just like so many do in real life.

I think it's just a subtle a wanted ad. Clever way of putting in the contact number so it is not recognised by the Ebay AI police. By the way, if your not in France he is not interested.

Here's a couple of nice shiney Norev Dealer Boxes.

First is one for the Renault (E)Fluence Concept car.

DSCF3808.JPG.2b2651183c714ed03754904ba7e02599.JPG

The car was designed by Patrick le Quément.

DSCF3807.JPG.faea0c7e5cb55053a46ac11136e944ad.JPG

Renault presented the 2+2 concept coupé on June 4, 2004, at the Louis Vuitton Car Elegance Classic in England.

The second is for the Peugeot 206 CC

DSCF3821.JPG.df493173078f7362ffd950c8152aa4bc.JPG

Two CCs in the brightest colours of the time.

DSCF3810.JPG.be33ae24eba4181dea11f4c4903dc811.JPG

One green...

DSCF3814.JPG.8a35fdb810252fa9b04cde12624e9dc6.JPG

and one blue.

DSCF3818.JPG.8a6dae49563ef5b348913914ad94c7f3.JPG

By the way, it is not one open and one closed, the roofs on the models do fold up and hide in the boot, but as I am just about to move these on I am not risking the fragile mechanisms. (I have broken a Minichamps SL in the past).

Trailer! :)

PM conversations with @danthecapriman have resulted in an image search.  I suspect I now have a new build project coming up, which will involve cutting up a Dinky Bedford CF.

Another iconic shite mobile joins the ranks of SEB vans here!

Bond partwork Sherpa van.

Stripped.

IMG_4240.jpeg.f69af0c3c4619dfe4c32cfb9a0a6c415.jpeg

Filler deployed, and rubbed down. This took ages to get right on this one for some reason.

IMG_4254.jpeg.a52caf28c5204a6a4ed365ed3e9e5eda.jpeg

IMG_4255.jpeg.18ba6429577e18950a10d368915c03c7.jpeg

Painting. Masking up around the windscreen base was trying too. The white stripe doesn’t follow any body contours or lines here so it’s got to be a smooth curve done with the tape.

Im pretty pleased with how this one came out. Just needs to dry off properly then reassembly. It’s a nice little casting though, definitely got the Sherpa look to it! Just a shame they cast the dents in!

Factory authenticity.  When it happened on the line at Ward End after a wet lunch on Friday, they just filled it and painted over.  Probably.

used to work with a fellow that worked on the J4 line at Washwood on nights- he said he went in one night and there was a bit of a panic as they were trying to rectify a run of vans that had their roofs put on back-to-front!

Your next project: Diorama ‘Cosa Nostra’

Start buying in your FIAT vans and ALFA saloons ready.  Maybe the odd massive Lancia.  You may have to reposition some characters laying motionless on a pavement though.

Another piece of French dealership diecast. This one was made by Vitesse when they were supplying Renault with all their chod.

1997 RenaultSport Spider.
