Can I ask would those number plates have been original to it or has somebody added them ?
Is it something you can buy to add to toy cars, I quite fancy doing that if possible ?
Cheers

I found these in my modelling cupboard a few weeks ago.

If you've got a printer it is quite easy to make your own to match your car.

I use one of a range of custom number plate suppliers websites, screenshot the plate I have made, reduce it in MS paint or as an object in Word and there you have a free set of miniature plates in precisely the correct font 😉

Same here. A1 Show Plates are my favourite as they have a pre-2001 font and even do Serck (although they call it Euro Style).

Today the Corgi Mini Pickup got some primer, also in the pic you can see that the wheels disolved in cosmic soda! I think someone ( @flat4alfa maybe?) warned me this could happen with some wheels.

IMG_9127.JPG

Yes.

I no longer dip cast wheels, only the stamped ones.  Better still don’t dip wheels at all like that as the steel axles will oxidise and need more cleaning up after.

I just hold them on a clamp and clean/polish using the bench-mounted workshop rotary grinder

Then the clamp lets go and they ping across the room to be never seen again.  Because, twat.

I’d love to make some, but I’m completely stupid when it comes to computers, any guidance on getting the right size for 1/36ish?

Trial and error I think you’ll find, use a ruler and adjust the scaling % of what you’re sending to the printer.

If you have a typical low-end inkjet printer and plain paper you might be disappointed

If your local library/ school / college / just stop oil activists office could a run-off a sheet using their laser printer at high DPI onto glossy paper, even better.  Then you will be Pro.

I think it's just a subtle a wanted ad. Clever way of putting in the contact number so it is not recognised by the Ebay AI police. By the way, if your not in France he is not interested.

Here's a couple of nice shiney Norev Dealer Boxes.

First is one for the Renault (E)Fluence Concept car.

The car was designed by Patrick le Quément.

Renault presented the 2+2 concept coupé on June 4, 2004, at the Louis Vuitton Car Elegance Classic in England.

The second is for the Peugeot 206 CC

Two CCs in the brightest colours of the time.

and one blue.

By the way, it is not one open and one closed, the roofs on the models do fold up and hide in the boot, but as I am just about to move these on I am not risking the fragile mechanisms. (I have broken a Minichamps SL in the past).

Another iconic shite mobile joins the ranks of SEB vans here!

Bond partwork Sherpa van.

Stripped.

IMG_4240.jpeg.f69af0c3c4619dfe4c32cfb9a0a6c415.jpeg

Filler deployed, and rubbed down. This took ages to get right on this one for some reason.

Painting. Masking up around the windscreen base was trying too. The white stripe doesn’t follow any body contours or lines here so it’s got to be a smooth curve done with the tape.

Im pretty pleased with how this one came out. Just needs to dry off properly then reassembly. It’s a nice little casting though, definitely got the Sherpa look to it! Just a shame they cast the dents in!

Factory authenticity.  When it happened on the line at Ward End after a wet lunch on Friday, they just filled it and painted over.  Probably.

used to work with a fellow that worked on the J4 line at Washwood on nights- he said he went in one night and there was a bit of a panic as they were trying to rectify a run of vans that had their roofs put on back-to-front!
