Do you mean these?

From what I can find on the interwebs these are an American product.  The weight is in ounces before grams adds to my thinking.  Spanish products would not have ounces written any where. I have never seen them in Spain. Maybe they are better than the Spanish products.

That’s them!
So they must make & sell them in the US too then? I thought it was just Spain and certain parts of South America.

I have finally completed the Corgi Gift Set 20 by changing the base on the Lancia

I had to fanny around with the suspension

The front of the Whizzwheels donor was burnt and no use, but I used the back from it

IMG_8478.thumb.JPG.8f35f79834fcd181798275e75fb57b70.JPG

The colour I used wasn't too far off

So how many forums could you expect a die cast collector to save a burnt out Whizzwheels Corgi Fulvia on the off chance someone may want it?

Autoshite is the forum and @Datsuncogis the amazing member who thinks of these things! Thank you.

A good week for Hot wheels hunting. Still after the Green RS2000 if anyone has a spare. 20231221_125444.thumb.jpg.000f2bea813a25c3e7eaa814e6e4ccc8.jpg20231221_125604.thumb.jpg.57f5e4d50fda43806949c4a1fd8f09a0.jpg

Seen this posted on Facebook, if anyone finds one I'd be most grateful as I've never seen a twin pack in real life.

Yeah I can sort one out for you - actually today might be a good day to box some stuff up, I have a few cars out aside for various people. Probably won't arrive this side of Christmas though.

Doing a miniature version of the E30 cab my mate's just bought. Kinda trolled him with the pics I took the other day with it on some Matchbox wheels which look a bit like the original BBS ones

I'll PM you about my bits and bobs.

Those alternative wheels look fantastic, hard to believe they're 1/64.

What scale are the Vitesse ones?

A Datsuncog says they are 1/43rd and are were sold under the City brand. I've had quite a few over the years come and go.

I like a Starter. That looks like it has been built quite well from a kit. It's missing the clear plastic air intake from the bonnet.

It is a model of the 1960 Le Mans winning Ferrari TR 60 of Olivier Gendebien and Paul Frere. The left side has a grille and the right side has an air scoop on the front wing.

@outlaw118 put a cheeky link to some cars he'd listed on eBay. There were some very interesting things on there, could have happily bought more really but these four are very pleasing

First two appealed to my love of the unusual, even the way this Strombecker (ever heard of them?) Corvette was packaged is different to the norm, as is the 1:30 scale

PXL_20231221_193218592.thumb.jpg.01a469faf25727be2a01fa4d8b3f3427.jpgPXL_20231221_193741206.thumb.jpg.58a34b591431eabbb8c403662f185637.jpg

Build quality is...not the best. Bonnet sits up on one side, partly due to a big bit of flash left on the right hand edge. The edge of the roof at the top of the window opening is almost dangerously sharp too - this one definitely wouldn't meet modern safety standards!

Haven't posted on this thread for months. Didn't curb my miniature shite habit though, just ran out of space in the display cabinet. I've become a 'new-in-box' collector as a result and stash them away in a suitcase. Amassed quite a few now, so I'll start sharing some of 'em.

First out the suitcase, a 1981 Chevrolet Citation X11.

Supposedly 1:64 scale, but it's a Johnny Lightning, so take that with a pinch of salt. Looks on the generous side of 1:64, unlike their Cadillac ambulance which is definitely on the small side. The tyre width is also way out of scale (again, typical of JL). Strang as Johnny Lightning is owned by the same company as Auto World, and their scaling is bang on. Scale issues aside, it's a really nice model with well executed detail (both painted and moulded).

I have fond memories of those Binatone  games , my Dad was the owner of Binatone’s chauffeur so we had a house full of anything and everything they sold when I was a kid.

in more relevant news , I went to a market in Oxford yesterday and as expected prices were mental, £20 for playworn Dinkys and Corgis . Even at those prices I was tempted by Dinky Corsair( early small one not 2000e) but my inherent meanness meant I’ll wait for a NornIron bargain one to come up.

I also went in a TKMaxx and saw these;

Mebbe a Code 2?

I thought this was a Tonka at first glance, but a sticker on the front says Airfix...

...while the base says Miniflex.

Certainly an oddity.

Hongwell Cararama Mercedes tilt-and-slide still with RAV-4 load...

I think I still have my boxed example of this. I think.

But, mostly, the box was chock-full o' general no-name tat like this:

I mean, it's quite nicely done and with some interesting mechanisms, but... not quite our thing, maybe.

By the time I'd finished my hoking, this glorious thing had appeared up top...

Ooft. A large (1/18?) plastic Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud.

Motorised, too.

But sadly missing quite a few bits, and with much evidence of a messy session with the UHU many moons ago.

Still, talk about presence...

Not in wonderful shape, but certainly not a common find. £10 asking price on it.

This Bunglebus-approved Corgi Carrier had also appeared:

No cars inside, though.

Oh, and more of these little blighters...

A quick spin round the other stalls brought disappointingly little...

One of the other general tat merchants appeared to be trying to turn a profit from some of last week's one-pound models:

Double your money, hey?

Best of luck with that...

Meanwhile, Alan's Emporium was also looking to the sky for pricing...

Yowser.

50p Tray a bit underwhelming today, too.

The Charity Stall seemed to have done so well from their Nazi memorabilia last week that there was no need for the separate diecast stall, or indeed much in the way of display efforts...

That's the Dinky S.H.A.D.O. thingy still in the case.

Though this mildly dog-eared Corgi BTTF DeLorean was available:

IMG_20231222_0822592.thumb.jpg.daeff2eca155e3f1faeb4a381d0e133a.jpg

Doubt it was cheap, though...

A turn past the Irish Tat stall brought a handful of new Hot Wheels...

IMG_20231222_0820102.thumb.jpg.683e6c892f377d7bd76e884412d60996.jpg

...and a Greenlight or two.

Oxford Diecast are getting increasingly spendy, though.

IMG_20231222_0818022.thumb.jpg.0fcc935d80be6e4301db7dfe0df577e6.jpg

£8.99 for a Fiesta? Crikey.

So there really wasn't a lot to part this specific fool from his money, this time round...

No room at the inn for coffee, either.

@Datsuncog That box of Lego with all the yellow bits in?  Isn't Lego, it's Airfix Betta Bilda.  I have some still that I've had from new back in the Swinging Sixties.  I would be interested to know the price, although I suspect it'll be rather too heavy to post.
