One of my maths teachers gave us a complex sum to do regarding a gambler at a casino....

Can't remember the sequence or figures involved but the answer was a deficit of 53507.34.   Teach said that if we cheated with our calculators the answer would tell us that cheats never prosper or some such bollox.

Anyway, after you turned the calculator (which we all cribbed with) upside down it reads "He Loses"

Teachers had far too much time on their hands back then....

Two pairs of winter tyres, 195/60R15. GR9 for snow like today

Two are Kleber Quadraxer
Two are Ovation W586

They've been on a naturally aspirated (read: not tyre stressing) impreza for about 8K, as far as I can tell.

Now FREE if collected before Friday Located in Durham.

Does anyone want some free alloy wheels? They're team dynamic ones that my Panda came with  I replaced with 500 steels as they had decent tyres.

They're 195/45/R15 -  4x98 fitment so they they fit Fiat 500's, Panda's, Alfa 145's.

One wheel has a a reasonable lump out of it but probably could be repaired. All but one of the tyres is bald or has flakey side walls.

They're right in the middle of my lockup getting in my way so if anyone wants to come and get them from South Ayrshire, Scotchland they're free,

Use them, weight them in, make a garden bench out of them I'm not bothered.

They look like this on the Panda

Sorry JD, I had a burst of energy and stuck them on Freecycle, so they were taken this afternoon.

Anyone want this strange contraption I pulled out of the Hiace last week?  It's an RM Audio RM2000, not sure how old it is but I'd guess mid-nineties, it's been in the van for a long time and has the dirt to prove it, plus it comes with the finest chocolate block wiring.   Seems to work OK, radio reception is not the best but the tape deck works, I have used it with one of those MP3 tape deck adaptors.  It does not have bluetooth, MP3, CD, handsfree, remote, SD card, RDS, DAB, wifi or 3G.  Both sides are damaged where it put up a fight being removed but it's in one piece and functional.  I only noticed after removal that it appears to have an AUX socket, weirdly, although I have no idea if it works.

If you want it, PM me as I'll forget to look on here.  Yours for the cost of postage.

Grr. Interested. Just right for a - well - audio project I'm conjuring up too.

Logistics are an arse. Could they wait till the end of the month?

Not a problem, they've been sat doing nothing for quite some time anyway.
