A tidemark on 80's and early 90's Fords is mandatory.

All mind had them as a preventative measure rather than a postoperative measure

You realise that means I actually have a real post-op Tranny don't you?

Ellesmere Port, today. It’s in a yard that’s sort of part of a scrappy, but kept separate and often they have full transporters of 2000-ish era cars going out. Might be an export thing, ifanyone wants details let me know.

Going to the US?

Honestly no idea, guessing they keep stuff separate from the main yard for some reason.

Lad who I work with goes to those Citroen 2cv events. His FIL is big into Citroens and has something to do with it I think.

IIRC the son of the lad I work with got given the winners rosette or something after the race that weekend, he's obsessed with it too. He even went to school on 'sporting heroes' day as his favourite 2cv racer. Everyone else was some mage famous footballer or something and he was a 2cv racer, which was cool.

Going to the US?

Doubt it, America's strict anti-immagration policy also applies to cars.

I thought once it was 25 years old you could import it to the us?

That's right. Some <25 year old cars seem to sneak through too, there's a Citroen C6 registered over there somehow.
