Were it up to me I’d have an outright ban on Gulf stickers and decals. Likewise for M badges fitted to anything other than something hand built at BMW. Possession would warrant something suitably draconian like bamboo torture. 
 

Ultimately however you can’t control what happens to something when you sell it, you’ve had the money, it’s off your hands. It must gall though when you’ve agreed a sale and some halfwit turns up with a padded baseball hat and massive earlobes. Still they’ve turned up and paid and that’s the end of the matter.

Still should be some sort of law where if they pull these stunts you should have a free pass to put their windows in and terrorise their family mind. Y'know, nothing too extreme. Just kill their pets and that 😆

I'm told my first Qashqai has been spotted not too far from where it was traded in with some live laugh love type stickers on the back of it. No sign of the second one on Autotrader yet, but I imagine they'll retail it given it was traded into a Nissan main dealer.

Everything else is dead. Corsa was on death row anyway, the Megane managed another year, the 206 lasted a few years, the Sedici barely lasted 6 months, the Meriva is surprisingly dead, and the Skoda expired a day before I was due to repurchase it!

Focus was cubed straight away, rightfully so. The Nexia is soldiering on out somewhere near Edinburgh I think. Got test until October, so I reckon that's as long as it has.

Paint, the interior trim also has lilac piping to match the paint. That was done by the chap I sold it to. The Gulf decals have been added by the next owner who has also sold it.

Spotted this picture of my ZR (the front one) I sold a few months ago, looks like it's in good hands and got the machine polish it deserved which is nice to see after all the work welding it up and the head gasket job

The paint wasn't the best, but it was clean and solid underneath and it looked as though someone had spent alot of time and some money.

All of my former cars have ended up baled sooner or later, or passed through several owners in quick succession whilst being neglected. The latter usually end up on SORN for a bit before going in the bin. 

I only care enough out of idle curiosity to run a DVLA check on my old cars (and everyone else's 😂) I have no interest in what somebody does with them. I did feel slightly guilty that a former Cavalier of mine which was practically one owner, in excellent original condition, ended up lowered and made into an SRi replica, but again, not enough to care.

I think the only two that are still actually on the road right now is my Duster (which isn't old on a 17 plate) and the Espresso Saab 93. I won't count cars I've sold in the past year but they all seem to go the same way.

I usually try and improve cars that come to me but the current Saab 9-3 is going to my breaker friend in January when the MOT runs out as the electrics have all gone senile. But it will keep other Saabs alive.

Looks like almost all my previous cars are still alive and used, though the Micra is on SORN (MOT still current). 

My old BX looks like it's gone back to an enthusiast and received some love and paint. Here's some pictures I found from 2023 and 2024.

Shame the spoiler has reappeared, but to each their own. I've got the original plates and tax disc holder around somewhere. It's funny seeing my Dungeness A site pass still in the front window. I miss driving it, but I definitely don't miss it draining my wallet.

Both my previous E36s met stereotypical fates for them.

The white 316i 4 door (M263 RAN) appeared for sale again 3 months after I sold it with a badly running 2.0 I6 shoved in there and M-sport bumpers. It still had the gaping holes in the driver's sill and the MOT had expired, and the rigger-boot wearing knuckledraggers who bought it wanted triple what they had paid me for it.

The green 320i auto coupe (M818 MHX)  ended up going to Amelia in a roffle, then through the Moog, then HMC. HMC sold it outside the forum and spotted it literally a couple of weeks later with... huge wheels and M-sport bumpers shoved on it. FFS.

My 323i has bloody M-sport bumpers too! But they were factory on it, at least. I'd prefer an SE model though.
